Spoiler for Warning - Lots of Text!:
The Nations

Land of Aether (by Zaealix)
Description: Etheria is a place off illusions and second-guessing, if you were to ask any other type of elemental. Few regard the aetherians kindly, due to an arrogance borne of the sheer power of their dimensional shields, and immortality magics. In the war, Aether was however, focused by the elements capable of penetrating these defenses, meaning their numbers are significantly lower than one would expect. In general, Aethers nowadays tend to come across as strangely 'controlled' and remarkably patient, though it's thought that this is to improve relations damaged in the war, as opposed to their true natures...
Population: Unknown
Government: Unknown
Known for: Being mysterious, I guess
Abilities:
Lighting - Aethers who study energy are capable of, as they put it 'rubbing the two planes together' and somehow generating a lightning bolt that can be fired at their enemies. The range, power, and time spent charging all vary depending on the elemental's skill.
Parallel Universe - By looking in the dimensional gate in Etheria, Aethers can 'poke' through to other dimension, pulling through other creatures, and in rare cases when the elemental is extremely skilled with this art, other elementals. These dimensional 'guests' to this world are only maintained as long as the Aether can manage it, which varies depending on the strength of the Aether and the 'guest'
Lobotomizer - Teal Swords that are crafted with the power to unleash an electrical attack that will fry the target's memory. Elementals usually recover in a few days time, though there are still a fewe unfortunate victims who will never awaken from a vegatative state. These swords confund most elementals, but Aethers have no trouble with utilizing these weapons.

Land of Air
Description: The Land of Air is respected and has good relations among the other kingdoms. The Land of Air is a popular vacation spot due to its beach-like weather (although there is the occasional windstorm), bustling marketplaces, and beautiful sights. The other kingdoms (in varying degrees) depend on the Land of Air for food and other goods. Most Air Elementals are skilled artisans and farmers, while others are traveling merchants and diplomats.  Air Elementals are easy-going, free spirited, friendly, and prefer not to fight. They are always willing to help others in need and frequently sacrifice economic or physical well-being to aid other nations or individuals.
Population: Large
Government: Constitutional Monarchy
Known for: Artisans, marketplaces, weather, farms
Abilities:
Flight - Some Air Elementals have the ability to grow Wings for a short period of time, enabling them to fly short distances.
Shockwave - Air Elementals that have studied magic can produce Shockwaves using the strength of air. These Shockwaves, depending on the ability of the user, can push objects around, send other Elementals flying, or even generate small earthquakes.
Eagle's Eye - Air Elementals who have mastered archery are precise, deadly, and extremely quick when wielding a bow and arrow.

Land of Darkness
Description: The Land of Darkness consists of average cities of towns, yet many resemble ghost towns - dark, deserted, and eerie. The absence of light and activity is simply due to the nature of the native Elementals, however. Darkness Elementals are reclusive, quiet, and also very intelligent, however they can be great companions if they choose to. They are stereotyped to be theives and assassins because of their uncanny hiding and sneaking abilities, but this is just a result of limited interaction between Darkness Elementals and others. In reality, Darkness Elementals can share the same amicable qualities as Air Elementals, yet many choose not to.
Population: Medium
Government: Direct Democracy
Known for: Intelligence, sneaking ability
Abilities:
Cloak - Darkness Elementals can blend in with shadows and the night sky. In dark areas, they can become completely invisible to the average elemental's eyes. Any sudden movements will nullify the cloak, so Darkness Elementals must move slowly to avoid being seen.
Steal - Darkness magicians have the ability to steal small objects without actually touching their target. In a small area around the user, any items can be stolen; they simply disappear and reappear in the possession of the user. Some Elementals have learned to watch valuable objects in case they vanish, because the thief is always near.
Vampire Dagger - A user can steal the very life energy of living beings that this weapon touches, weakening the target and healing the user.

Land of Death
Description: Few Elementals know what lies within the Dead Marshes. The residents of the Dead Marshes are extremely xenophobic, and take a special interest in squashing living things beneath their... walking appendages. They bear a special hatred for Life and Air (by nerd1). While most Elementals regard Death with distate, they will form shaky relationships to avoid negative relations with a shunned Death Elemental. Death Elementals themselves are lazy but will act when needed. They usually avoid others due to being disliked.
Population: Small
Government: Anarchy
Known for: Being disliked
Abilities:
Plague - A particularly malicious spell; Death Elementals that cast Plague will inflict sickness to living beings in a small area around them. It is usually not fatal, most Elementals react with discomfort of varying degrees, while some receive diseases or are bedridden for days.
Bonewall - A Death Elemental can generate a solid mass of bones, tightly knit and plentiful to avoid breaking down. These bones can be used to encase an area, block a path, etc. It takes meticulous care to find weak, breakable spots in a Bonewall. Brute force works as well, although either method requires time.
Arsenic - This weapon will inflict a poison upon any living thing it touches, which will slowly spread and eventually kill the target. The time of death depends on the target's size and natural protection. For a normal Elemental it may take only a couple hours, but for a strong Earth Elemental it may take days. There are few cures to this poison, but they do exist.

Land of Earth
Description: Located within the Earthen Mountains, the Land of Earth is rich with minerals and other natural resources. The Land of Earth is allies with Gravity and Fire Elementals, who share common interests and tastes. Earth Elementals are stolid and phlegmatic, although they are friendly and caring to their friends and family. They are also among the strongest Elementals, using their natural brawn in the mines deep within the mountains. They will protect to the death the things they care about most.
Population: Medium
Government: Representative Democracy
Known for: Mines, natural resources, strength
Abilities:
Basilisk Blood - Using magic, Earth Elementals can petrify objects for a short period of time, cancelling all movement. The affected area and time petrified is based on the user's magic power.
Stone Skin - Elementals that have studied the natural earth have gained the ability to transform their body into a rock formation, impervious to almost anything bu immobilizing the user.
Pulverizer - Crafted by the best blacksmiths of the Kingdom of Gravity, this weapon is honed to destroy structures, both natural and artificial. It is mostly used in the mines but can also be deadly in battle.

Land of Entropy
Description: Few Elementals venture into the Chaos Triad, and even fewer are welcomed by the Entropy Elementals that live their-in, however, Life Elementals are usually welcome, as the residents of the Chaos Traid see something of themselves in the chaos of life. Entropy Elementals also treat with Darkness Elementals, being creatures of chaos, all have some darkness within them. Their greatest enemies are the Gravity and Aether Elementals, each symbolizing order. They are neutral towards most other elements (by nerd1). Entropy Elementals are mysterious and observative, they prefer solitude and quiet environments such as the meadows in the Kingdom of Life. Their chaotic magical practices can be dangerous, yet powerful if wielded in the right way.
Population: Medium
Government: Anarchy
Known for: Magicians, Chaotic Energy
Abilities:
Chaos Power - Entropy Elementals harness chaotic energy to bestow benefits to a target. These benefits may include physical, mental, or magical abilities, but even the spellcaster him/herself cannot predict what the target will receive.
Mutation - This spell alters the genetic structure of a biological target, changing their very genotype. Using this spell is highly discouraged and is a crime in eleven nations, so many magicians or scientists experiment in the Chaos Triad, most on themselves.
Discord - This weapon inflicts a strange condition upon living objects that it touches. Among Elementals it has been noted to cause confusion, amnesia, hallucinations, or even mental disorders. The scrambling effect it creates normally last for a few minutes, but in extremely rare cases can exist for much longer, even permanently.

Land of Fire
Description: The Land of Fire, located around Mount Vulcan, exceeds temperatures that most Elementals can bear and therefore receives few visitors. Fire Elementals are ostentatious, prideful, and like to brag, but they are also loyal and moral. They are also aggressive and quick to act without thinking in certain situations. However, they will always make the decision they deem as "right." Because of their nature, they boast a strong military, and the kingdom itself is disliked by the more peaceful nations.
Population: Large
Government: Dictatorship
Known for: Military strength, Mount Vulcan
Abilities:
Immolation - By sacrificing an object, a Fire Elemental can cause a burst of flame that empowers the ability of nearby Elementals and generates a strength of pure fire.
Fire Bolt - Fire magicians can summon a Fire Bolt from the sky to obliterate a target area. Experienced magicians can even generate a rain of fire. This is a destructive spell used only in battle.
Fahrenheit - The strength of the Fahrenheit increases with the fervor of its user. A rage-filled warrior in the heat of battle can cause the sword to emit flames and scorch the opposition.

Land of Gravity
Description: The harsh environment of the Gravity Basin breeds massive creatures. Gravity Elementals don't bear any particular ill will towards any of the other elements, however the unforgiving terrain of the Gravity Basin is an unintentional deterrent towards most other Elementals, although the occasional Fire Elemental can be found (by nerd1). They have good relations with the Land of Earth, with whom they trade finished products for raw materials that are abundant in the mountains. There are relatively few Gravity Elementals, and they prefer to stay within their own nation. Gravity Elementals are master blacksmiths and produce the greatest armor and weapons in the world. Gravity Elementals are hard-working but also love a good time; among others they are gregarious and loud.
Population: Small
Government: Representative Democracy
Known for: Blacksmiths
Abilities:
Gravity Pull - Gravity Elementals focus on an object while casting this spell, and said object emits a gravitational force that attracts things around it. Larger objects generate a larger gravitational force. Size capability is based on the proficiency of the user.
Acceleration - This ability can be used to drive the target into a berzerker-like state: striking with increasing power, but at the price of eventually killing the target unless they are restored to their senses (by Zaealix).
Titan - Wielding the trademark weapon of the Kingdom of Gravity, these hardened veterans are masters with the destructive hammer crafted specially for Gravity Elementals.

Land of Life
Description: The Land of Life is a peaceful and welcoming nation that avoids violence of all kinds. The landscape is breathtaking and arguably the most beautiful place on the continent. The location houses a myriad of exceptional plant species. Life Elementals are very benign, selfless, calm, rarely getting angry or showing distaste. They are great friends and respected by fellow Elementals. Their only weakness is their susceptibility to manipulation.
Population: Medium
Government: Constitutional Monarchy
Known for: Beauty, flora and fauna, healing
Abilities:
Adrenaline - This spell energizes and rejuvenates a target, heightening physical ability to inhuman levels. The effects usually last for a couple minutes, but veteran spellcasters can increase the time of the enhancement.
Empathetic Bond - This ability allows its user to connect with another living being, be it Elemental or creature. The user learns of many emotional and spiritual tendencies of the target, as well as their emotional motivations for recent actions.
Druidic Staff - Crafted by Life magicians, this staff has an immense capacity for healing wounds. Life Elementals with these are famous for their unmatchable ability to cure almost any ailment or injury.

Land of Light
Description: The Land of Light is a raw material exporter, they provide the other kingdoms with clothes, lumber, spices, etc, and also some manufactured goods such as tools. Their society is very similar to that of the Land of Air. Light Elementals are noble, trustworthy, and righteous. They are very strong willed and persevering.
Population: Large
Government: Monarchy
Known for: Exports
Abilities:
Blessing - Using magic, Light Elementals can boost the physical and mental capacity of a target for an extended period of time. This is a noticable but not drastic change, usually used to increase output.
Holy Light - This spell illuminates the area around the caster, pacifying negative emotions, removing stress, and bringing absolute peace and tranquility to nearby Elementals.
Morning Glory - A majestic, beautiful sword that is unbreakable in the hands of a Light Elemental. Even against the most powerful spells and physical blows it receives no scratch.

Land of Time
Description: The desert of time - a place with a depressing motto (at least for Gravity blacksmiths): Time erodes everything, eventually. Some say that the desert sands once formed a colossal clock. Others say that it will one day be made into an enormous glass sculpture of beauty. Time Elementals take punctuality very seriously, and an insult amongst them is to be late, though they are less strict about this towards the other Elementals. It is a sign of personal skill and talent to accumulate crafted objects: reversing time improperly can revert an object to the components that comprise it, while fast-forwarding will reduce it to dust, years of neglect occurring within seconds. Time creatures are often very long-lived, and autonomous almost from birth, to help combat the frequent time distortions (by Zaealix).
Population: Small
Government: Direct Democracy
Known for: Timekeeping, ability to control time (to a certain extent)
Abilities:
Precognition - Time Elementals who have devoted significant study to magic can view events in the future. At lower levels the future sight is usually unclear and confusing, but expert magicians can target specific time periods or locations, or can remember the future event like a memory.
Hourglass/Sundials - Used to enhance the effects of time on oneself, the speed varies depending upon the craftsmanship of the timekeeping device (by Zaealix).
Eternity Staff - Skilled members of the Eternal order fight using this staff that enhances the natural ability to utilize Reverse Time, and enables it in elementals unskilled in the art of manipulating time. Each one has been preserved for thousands of years to ensure the staffs do not revert to the raw materials, even after prolonged usage without being temporally accelerated (by Zaealix).

Land of Water
Description: While many Water Elementals reside underwater, the city of Atlantis and, to a lesser extent, the Frozen North, are home to these Elementals. Atlantis boasts extraordinary architecture and a unique fusion of water and solid surfaces. Water Elementals cannot stand being on land for long periods of time (pun maybe intended), but some have gotten used to living on dry earth. Water Elementals are smart, chatty, and active, but are also stubborn and physically weak.
Population: Medium
Government: Representative Democracy
Known for: Architecture, ability to live underwater
Abilities:
Ice Bolt - Water magicians can cast this spell, which hurls a large ball of ice at a target area, exploding into water and sharp shards of ice that can drown or pierce.
Freeze - Residents of the Frozen North have developed the ability to freeze at will. Many can freeze small objects, while more proficient users can solidify entire Elementals in ice.
Trident - This weapon is crafted to destroy structures; it can generate tremors in the ground which causes Elemental and building alike to fall to the ground.

Elemental Classification : False God (Written by Zblader)
Used to a classify 29  semi-deitic elementals and 1 'honorary member' with their properties, the False Gods are a loosely defined 'group' of powerful entities whose dominant elements give them massive power and control over the world of magic, possibly even more than some of the weaker rulers of the Elemental Realms.  While they are usually skilled in a certain element(s), their elemental composition (and by extension, spellcasting skill) consists of a large amount of all 12 elements and possibly even more than the core twelve. Despite this, they are content to serve as the wardens and caretakers of the realms, acting by their own choice and only bringing out the full extent of their power when needed.

False Gods generally tend to specialize in certain elemental abilities as well, allowing them to brandish stronger versions of more common elemental abilities. As these 'Improved Cards' are discovered, they can be listed in their profile.

Null Creatures/Singularity
Null monsters make no noise, having an almost audible silence. They radiate an aura of negativity, causing anxiety and sickness to nearby elementals. They are impervious to regular physical damage, easily regenerating, being only weak to massive amounts of elemental energy. They move medium-slow, and leave no trace behind when defeated. They come in different forms and shapes, but have a similar null color scheme. (by furballdn) When null creatures and living beings touch, their inherent opposite nature "cancels out" and both beings become nonexistent.

The Singularity is the aggregate of null energy that exists in unstable realms. It is created by the absence of a stable form of energy, and its properties mutate and develop over time. It in incapable of thought on its own, it just exists and naturally changes. The Singularity is naturally spontaneous.

Character/Event Information:
Spoiler for Hidden:
Notable NPCs (Elementals)

Dimentio Revane (:aether): Revane, a notorious criminal, was initially incarcerated for impersonating various high-power officials to his own ends. Using his powerful Parallel Universe ability, Dimentio escaped by creating copies of himself and traveling through other universes to reach his destinations. Currently, he is a rogue, searching the vast globe to find a secure hiding place. (by thispersonisagenius)

Lady Isharugi/Lord Isharugi (:aether): Two Aether nobles that were given control of two "stable" realms. They prefer to live in solitude in isolated, protected Aether environments. They frequently visit other realms.

Mya (:air): Mya is the queen of the Land of Air. While she has relatively little power, she is a potent representative and very popular with the Air citizens. She is charming, abhors unnecessary violence, and considers her people before anything else when making decisions.

Adrianne (:darkness): Adrianne, beautiful yet manipulative, is the younger sister of Zerath. She has an unnerving habit of probing an individual's mind, heart, and soul before exposing herself.

Zerath (:darkness): The elected ambassador of Darkness, Zerath is a well-known figure to the other nations. He is slender and of average height. He is extremely intelligent and pensive, never acting with haste or emotion. While some are wary of his cold, piercing blue eyes and silent demeanor, he has only good intentions for his allies and his people.

The Ferryman (:death): The Ferryman, a rotting, disgusting corpse of a Death Elemental, has the ability to communicate with the deceased. Few choose to seek his help, but because he is the only living being with this ability, wise and rich Elementals beseech him for his expertise.

Fallen Druid (:entropy): The only Fallen Druid in existence. He has the ability to mutate other organisms without fear of death or a hideous Abomination forming.

Galnath (:fire): A Fire Elemental sent to discover the origin of the enigmatic energy source. He is a spellcaster with the ability Fire Bolt.

Sorall (:fire): Lord Sorall leads the Land of Fire. He is large even for a Fire Elemental, bulking and powerful. He is hot-headed and vigorous, often blurting out what most others would keep secret, but he is a just and fair ruler.

Cameron (:gravity): A soldier in charge of operating Catapults. He has a bond with a tame Charger known as Saph.

Eden (:life): A traveling healer who possess uncanny healing magic and the ability to bond with all creatures. He is considered one of the greatest healers in the world.

Vivor (:life): Vivor, the Emperor of Life, rules his kingdom well, as he and his wife Vitalia are able to maintain peace within their kingdom. Though Vivor is not high up in the rankings of the 12 elemental Leaders, others respect him for his leadership. His ability, Adrenaline, makes him formidable as he can control and use it for long periods of time. His current biggest worry is his son, Ferocio. (by thispersonisagenius)

Lady 'Ammy' Amaterasu (:light): Formely a Magus of the White Sage House, Amaterasu is the recently crowned queen of Light, a benevolent woman who encourages peace, friendly negotiations, and open trade, but conceals it behind a spy network that has established an alliance with Darkness. Her motif is the Mother Wolf - benevolent to her children and fierce, but aloof. She is conflicted about how much she really follows the virtues of Light, but in the dark times of the post war world she will put universal survival first. She can project herself as an illusion of light, usually as an animal. Since she usually doesn't fight, the rest of her abilities are currently unknown. (by Zblader)

King 'Heli' Helios (:light): Formerly a prince of the White Shield House, King Helios is the recently crowned king of Light. He retains an optimistic nature, having not been fully tainted by the burden of elemental politics yet. He is known to be a warrior of great charisma and wisdom, though the coming times will test his mantle as the King to the strongest degree. (by Zblader)

Eclipse Evanescence (:light): One of the Light spies involved in the Darkness/Light alliance, Eclipse fits his name in almost every way - he possesses the ability to manifest Darkness "Moon Ravens" that can investigate multiple areas at once and communicate with other elementals, and can also summon Light "Solar Hawks" that emit blinding flashes of light to blind enemies. For all his skills, though, he's not that great in direct combat, and is forced to resort to trickery and pragmatism to win any conflicts he is involved in. (by Zblader)

Kuraz (:light): A mage student belonging to a House of Light, Kuraz's high position leaves him slightly overbearing and brutally direct at times. Accustomed to getting his way, he use his investigative methods to find what he wants to accomplish the goals given to him. He is a student specialized in monoLight . (by Zblader)

Jenkins (:light): A prideful... 'fighter' descending from the self-proclaimed 'House of Chicken', Jenkins is supposedly one of the stupidest people to ever exist in the Light Realm. Always picking and losing fights, his pride remains untarnished by his sheer 'bravery' and his JAR OF DIRT. His 'swordship' skills are only further 'augmented' by his almighty Dagger. (by Zblader)

Mobius (:water): Mobius is a Frost Monarch (lololol reference), the strongest Elemental capable of Ice Magic alive. He is one of the most potent spellcasters in the world. His appearance (art by Yugioh).

Notable NPCs (Otherwordly/False God/Immortal/etc)

By ZBlader (Akebono/Divine Glory/Lionheart):
Spoiler for Hidden:
Name : Akebono
Gender : Male
Element : :gravity
Known Improved Cards :
Focused Black Hole - Instead of indiscriminately draining energy from all targets in range, can selectively drain individually targeted elementals in the same area. Can also specify which energies are drained, if Akebono needs a certain type of pure energy but doesn't want another element mixing with it.
Bio: An armored giant who enjoys riding Massive Dragons, Akebono is a False God who does not like actions without reason and ensures that his opponents will be -definitely- crushed with his overwhelming force. The recent disruption in the balance of elemental energies has left him worried, as he strives to make sure the realms on both sides of Lady Isharugi's 'elemental sphere' will not consume each other in mindless conflict.

Name : Divine Glory
Gender : Female
Element : :light :fire
Known Improved Cards :
Morning Sun : An indestructible blade of pure light, unable to be destroyed by anything, even if said 'anything' is not known to her or involves an unorthodox tactic like wiping the blade from existence or aging it to the point of oblivion. It sometimes seems to move on it's own even when Divine Glory is unconscious, (and thus unable to control Animated Weapon), making some question whether the actual Divine Glory is the woman or the sword.
Bio: A young and spirited warrior, Divine Glory tries to keep the image of a veteran warrior hardened by battle but is really quite soft and timid when you get to know her. Seemingly unfazed by the potential crisis, she views the impending Void 'invasion' as the ultimate test of cooperation between the elements, known and unknown. When not wearing her helmet, her flaming red hair and eyes are a great inspiration to many on the battlefield.

Name : Lionheart
Gender : Male
Element : :time :aether :light
Known Improved Cards :
Temporal Placement : An eldritch mix of Reverse Time and Quintessence, Lionheart can place himself in any temporal state of being he wishes to be, while retaining his intelligence. This makes him a great spy, able to become a quiet unspoken child one second and a roaring warrior of destruction the next.
Phantom Eternity : An Eternity enchanted with sheer amounts of Aether, it has the ability to not only cast the standard-fare Reverse Time but can also cast what he describes to be 'Freeze Time' and 'Forward Time', with one briefly freezing an elemental in place while the other moves them forward in the endless steam of time.
Bio: His real form being a blond-bearded warrior with shining white eyes, Lionheart loves the glory of battle and can often be seen observing the most recent Arena fight or an Elemental Academy's military training. Despite this, he is well aware that war will not solve everything and is willing to openly negotiate with the other elements to prepare for what might be the greatest battle of all time. Doesn't have a good sense of humor, though he tries.

Mouth of the Void (:underworld): This Otyugh seems to have the ability to open void portals at will, and often brings along hordes of lesser creatures to this world. Strangely enough, the creatures, as well as the Otyugh itself, are more akin to beings from the known elemental world, instead of true 'Void' beings... (by Zaealix)

??? (:time): A Time magician capable of seeing the future through precognition. He is the only Elemental alive with the power to accurately pinpoint the location and time of occurrence of an event he witnesses in his visions. His appearance (art by Krava). [No one is allowed to control this character except me.]

Name : ???
Gender : ???
Element : 'Fate' ( ) , (???)
Bio: ???
Always appearing in a light-grey teal cloak, this mysterious stranger can only be present for the duration his Watch 'Kronos' allows him to, but his ability to manifest his power to adapt to any situation more than makes up for it. His abilities are all based on the various mythology throughout the world known as 'Earth'. He appears to be fully aware of the impending doom for both worlds, and seeks to prevent it. It is implied that he prefers to 'screw destiny' rather than following what it tells him to do. (Character by ZBlader)

:air furballdn - Renato Feng (Air)
Spoiler for Renato Feng:

Description: A rather bookish fellow with long dark hair that sometimes covers his eyes. Has glasses from reading too much. His mother was an air elemental, while his father was a death elemental that disappeared. Hasn't explored too much, but has read plenty of books and gathered a lot of knowledge. Farthest he has gone was to the desert of time  to study some of their ancient texts.

Ability: Has quite a lot of knowledge, but not much practical experience. Has a flesh spider as a pet and is pretty strong.

Item: Sword left by his father.

:darkness Annele - Astasia (Darkness)
Spoiler for Astasia:
Name: Astasia [Annoctatio]
Element:  :darkness
Description:
Female, 16, 5'13
Pale skin; slight freckles on her nose; long, dark, wavy hair, violet eyes, quite pretty. She had a crush on the popular, over-arrogant Fire elemental who had moved to the Land of Darkness to spend time with his cousins. However, when she learnt of the Fire Lord's deed, she blanked him, just when he was starting to take notice of her.
Background:
She is slightly reserved, as both her parents died when she was 3. She was raised by her grandmother, an :aether elemental, forced to hide her race due to the scorn of the Aether Nation throughout the Land of Darkness. She taught Astasia how to survive, and also many secrets of the Aether nation. Astasia's grandmother finds joy in the girl, though she is disappointed that Astasia's anger and determination can sometimes cloud her judgement.
When she turned 15, her grandmother admitted to her that her parents did not die of a virus, they were in fact killed by the Fire Lord Sorall in one of his rages. Horrified by this, Astasia became hostile towards the Fire Nation, and would not accept any of there help when the Fire trainers came to town. As there is now a large gap in her training, her grandmother has sent her off to the Dead Marshes to train. ("If anyone can get in, it's you.")
Abilities:
Cloak. She can disguise herself well when necessary.
Item: Vampire Dagger. Why create a ruckus when one can just slip a dagger through their ribs and draw on their power?

:entropy Arum - Psyphoenix (Entropy)
Spoiler for Psyphoenix:
Name: Psyphoenix
Element: Entropy
Description: A person who somehow confused time, changing it around his body. He is ageless, having lived for millennia. Parts of him are decomposed, steadily turning to dust, and yet, somehow, the time flux continues to make his skin"regenerate".
Background: Having been a permanent victim of the Blade of Discord, he has no memory except for the ones he has created himself.
Ability: The power to control each and everything that passes through an invisible sphere, only 1 1/2 feet at it's widest. Can also sometimes expand his sphere, but other players can control his dome if they are in it when he expands it. Also, his sphere is in a different reality, so if they die in the dome, they are transported to the different reality, but if they are simply hurt, and pull the hurt part out, it will be as if nothing had happened.
Item: A shard from the Blade of Discord, strapped to his hand, creating a knifelike punch.
Anything else: The character is based off Scarlet Witch, The Phoenix, The Living Mummy, and Psylocke from X-Men. XD
Also to clarify, he can be hurt and killed, the "regeneration" only affects the Time Flux.

:entropy nerd1 - Grenexus (Entropy)
Spoiler for Grenexus:
Name: Grenexus
Element: Entropy
Description: Has a stable, human form (which is actually pretty rare for entropy elementals)  He's 6'6, but his weight and eye color tend to fluctuate rapidly, not because of any habit, but because of his inner nature. His hair shifts randomly between black and brown, but his face is stable, and has a high set brow and evenly spacd teeth, although the amount of baby fat changes rapidly, because of his weight changes.
Personality: Nuetral Chaotic. Doesn't have any particulaur moral code, and causes chaos for fun, but isn't truly evil, and usually tries to do good, if only becase then he has partial immunity against the law. Enjoys cooking, but doesn't enjoy eating what he cooks.
Background: Born (spawned? Budded?) Into exiistance somewhere between 80 and 200 years ago, but his entropy level only decreased enough for sentience about 16 years ago. Hopes to eventually cause enough chaos to return to his original form, even if he loses his sentience, but until then he wants to stay alive and enjoy life. Moved from the land of entropy to the land of life when he was 10 by stowing away, then pretenting he was a druid when found out. Lived in a shack until recently, attempting to stitch animals together to create a chimera. He left after hearing a rumor about a possible war, which he, as a creature of chaos, would have felt right at home in.
Abilities: Pandemonium. Instead of arming himself with a weapon or sheild, Grenexus simply packed two pandemonium spells, which brought his "cooldown" time to 2 minutes instead of 4. With minimum cooldown, pandemonium deals a random effect to three or four random people within Grenexus's line of sight (including possibly his comrades.) If he lets his spell cool down for longer, however, if affects more people, and usually deals more harmful effects. While pandemonium is reloading, he uses the fist of the nose hair /joke.

Though his relatives attempt to restrain him from being too wild, his inner passion is to be free. Ferocio often acts before thinking, simply blasting through whatever stands in his way. Due to his physical dominance, Ferocio attracts the attention of many girls, though he has eyes for only one: Princess Gaea of the Earthen Mountains, who he has long been friends with since they met at the edges of their own empires. The two often meet up in small areas of each others' lands to share their lives and get to know each other.

Background: Heir to a forgotten nobility, Kairos has grown up in the Sands of Time, struggling in the desert just outside of the walls of Time's capital.  With whatever is left of his dignity, Kairos fights to regain his family's name, despite being the last of his bloodline and being merely a grunt in a growing group of bandits.  Unbeknownst to him, he has an inherent skill to reverse time without the assistance of Eternity due to his bloodline, but at the moment is unable to control that power, leaving him in more trouble whenever it accidentally goes off.
Ability: Eternity
Item: Procrastination [When it impacts an object, it is capable of delaying it and the space around it.]
Anything else:

:water ddevans96 - Bhever Raine (Water)
Spoiler for Bhever Raine:
Name: Bhever Raine

Element: Water (With strong other affinities)
Description: A young man usually hidden away in a blue cloak (the clothing), but when he's not in it (like at home), it is obvious that he has short brown hair with a tiny amount of blue and blue eyes. He is friendly to elementals from the water alliance, less friendly to elementals from other alliances, and hostile to elementals that he deems insulting.
Background: Someone had the bright idea (sarcasm intended) to rape his grandmother, a water nymph, who then gave birth to his father because of this. Farther back, he sees several nonwater elementalists were some of his ancestors, making him partially other. He tries to keep it a secret, feeling it shaming him, but master precogers already know his history, partially because he defends it. He is strongly aligned by historical events, causing much of his prejudice. He wants to solve the problems he sees, and when he goes, he doesn't stop without a fight.
Ability: Nymph's tears- he can take a cup of his own tears and put it on at least 3 cubic meters of pillar to turn it into a nymph. Using less of either increases the risk that said nymph has something seriously wrong with her (missing body parts, frailty, that sort of thing). (Nymphs are NPCs, with attributes created by the GM)
Item: Giant collection of towers- he has a huge load of them, many of them collected from abandoned fields. He still feels that he's perpetually low on quanta.

In a secluded cellar near the Palace of Air, the leaders of three prominent nations met in secret to discuss an urgent problem. Urgent may be an understatement, for this malicious development threatened the well-being of the entire world. It was unexplainable, sudden, surprising.

It was an explosion of energy, origin unknown, that spread throughout the entire continent in less than three minutes. Every Elemental felt a sharp spike in energy, agitating and frightening. Magicians could not isolate its source nor dissect its components. It was an alien energy, an undiscovered source of power. This enigma was regarded as a magical anomaly and promptly ignored, as it had no lasting affect. All Elementals were assured that there was no danger whatsoever.

But then it struck again. This time, it set off a chain reaction of disturbances. Natural disasters of all kinds - Earthquakes in the mountains, sandstorms in the desert, hurricanes near Atlantis and the Land of Air. Every living being felt the wrath of this mysterious power. There was no ignoring its significance this time. Unrest was widespread, Elementals everywhere heard countless rumors of the nature of this phemomenon. Was it the result of a crazy magician's experiments? Was it a natural occurrance? Was it a celestial or otherworldly presence? Or was it something else altogether?

Many Elementals demanded explanation, but even the most skilled magicians could not decipher the source. Rulers comforted their people, ensuring them that investigation was underway and no harm would befall them. Queen Mya of the Air Elementals witnessed the strength of this energy and knew she had to protect her people. She organized a meeting with the nations Fire and Darkness - populated and integral, she knew together they would make a keen decision.

The three figures stood around a circular table in a tiny, dimly lit room underneath ground level. Mya was dressed in the light blue, ornate robes of her people. Lord Sorall, with a dominating presence, overshadowed his peers with his massive body, dressed in a loose shirt and shorts. Zerath, donning a casual, dark suit, distanced himself from the other two.

"I bet it was those damn Entropy Elementals. Always messing around with their chaotic energy..." Sorall muttered, shaking his head.

"It's not Entropy." Zerath, expressionless, whispered almost inaudibly.

"Oh yeah?" Sorall took a huge step to place his gigantic frame inches from the slim Darkness Elemental. Sorall was twice the size of Zerath, towering over him like a mountain dwarfs a hill. "And how you would you know that?" His booming voice echoed throughout the room.

Zerath was unfazed. He peered straight into his superior's eyes with an almost unnerving, piercing stare. "This is not the doing of elementals. This is a foreign, alien force." Zerath said coolly.

This only enraged Sorall further. The Lord of Fire escalated his voice, enough to cause tremors on the ground floor above. "How do you know so much it, then? Would you like to enlighten us?" The occupants of the small room could feel the slight temperature range.

"Enough!" Mya interjected. "We will have no bickering here. I did not summon you here to argue. We must focus on the issue at hand."

After a few tense moments of silence, Sorall backed off and sighed in surrender. "I have no leads. No information. Surely the magicians of a nation like, say, time, would know something about this.?" he stated.

"I have already contacted all the other nations, save for Entropy and Aether." Mya replied. "They also have no intelligence at this moment."

Sorall slowly paced the room, arms crossed. Zerath, still situated in the same spot of the room, was silent. He was deep in thought.

"Well, it's obvious that we should communicate with Entropy and Aether. But the Chaos Gate has been closed for a while now, and Aether...good luck breaking through that barrier around Etheria." the Sorall said.

"I have contact with Entropy. I will ask them for any information on the subject." Zerath replied.

Silence yet again overtook the room. Sorall stared suspiciously at Zerath for a moment, then quickly shifted his gaze and began pacing.

Mya spoke next. "The Gravity Elementals must have some way to get past the Dimensional Shield around Etheria..." she mused.

Sorall lit up. "Ah, yes! Last I heard they were developing Catapults that could bypass anything."

Mya nodded. "Excellent. I will send one of my men there. Can you send one of your soldiers to the Land of Gravity as well, Sorall? Those Aether Elementals have isolated themselves for too long."

The Fire Elemental smiled. "I can, m'lady."

"The time difference between the two outbreaks was roughly a week. We may have a few days before another power surge occurs to find some information. Let's hope we are successful." Mya concluded. "You know your duties. Together we can solve this mystery and protect our people. Meeting ajourned."

Renato looked up from the document he was reading. It wasn't often that he felt so distracted. He had originally thought that something was off, but he had just brushed it off as the fact that he had eaten nothing all morning. Renato cleared off the scrolls and papers and stretched. He hadn't gone out in a while, and he was feeling pretty hungry. Renato looked at his tiny snoozing flesh spider off in the corner of the table. Renato thought that there was no need to disturb Libellum's tiny nap so he got up and prepared himself to go out. Renato never really liked actually going outside and mingling with people, but his stomach was really aching, and he still felt quite odd, ever since the morning. Renato put up his light blue hood on his robe, as he always did, partially to keep the glare of light from his eyes, but also because that he was always afraid that someone might recognize his roots and father's origins, it was already bad that his father soon disappeared after he was born, but the fact that he was a death elemental might've made others uncomfortable. As Renato headed outside, he imagined it would have been a regular day, with the usual events, but when he got outside, he quickly noticed something was different. From his high vantage point, Renato peered out towards the horizon, something felt...different...about the very air.

[Hope you guys don't mind me doing this...I'm relatively new to this RPing thing...]
Iredia was sitting on a bench, watching two of the more experienced Gravity warriors spar with the Titan hammers, trying to figure out the secret to utilizing the full power of the weapon. In Iredia's hands, it was a well-crafted hammer...But not a Titan hammer that could smash through structures and elementals alike. She continued to watch intently when a loud angry voice called for her.
MAXSUS!!!!
Iredia jumped, and looked in the direction of the voice. It waws her superior, and he didn't look too happy.
Superior"Soldier, your break ended 10 minutes ago! What do you think you're doing here!?!
Iredia"Sir! I lost track of time, my apologies!"
Superior"Maxsus you-
*WHAM!*
One of the other Gravity soldiers was slammed and sent flying into a wall by his opponent. Iredia sighed, that sounded like a momentum hit for sure! Figures the moment she was waiting for she'd miss...Oh right! The Superior!
Superior"-But enough of that, Maxsus, we've recently received envoys from the nations of Fire and Air, and they're here to use our Catapult Project, but to do that, they need someone who understands how to operate it, and that's where you come in. Do you understand?"
Iredia" Yes Sir!"
Superior"Good, now come along, they're this way, oh, and Iredia, don't forget your manners."
Iredia saluted, and then started following the other elemental.
It wasn't long before she met the envoys, and she couldn't help but giggle slightly. These were kids! The Superior gave her a harsh glare, and turned to the foreigners.
Superior "Gentlemen, this is Iredia Maxsus. She will be the operator of the Catapult, and will accompany you to break through the Etheria barrier. Any Questions?"
[Something I just realized I forgot-Iredia's mistaking the elemental envoys for kids, since they're considerably smaller than her. They're adults, but Gravitys are big elementals I think...And if not, Iredia is, and she's not used to other elemental types yet.]

"Well, Lyra, did you feel that?"

"Of course Shaden, I felt the extremely large energy surge going through me. The next thing I'm going to assume is that it was your fault."

"I doubt that a large amount of students suddenly keeling over in the Academy and Lumiel telling a select few graduates and staff that they have the same.... anomaly within them is my fault, 'specially when I  was sleeping."

"I suppose it's pointless to argue it then. We might as well go in and see why he called us here personally today."

Lyra knocked on the red door, waiting for a response. After what seemed like eons of Time, a soft 'Come in' could be heard. As Lyra entered, she found herself face-to-face with the teacher of Healing and the most sought representative of the House of White Sages - a seemingly young man with short white hair and glasses. However, one would feel that their was a greater mind or motive that the man beheld, perhaps due to the wisdom that he so openly shared.

"Greetings, Lyra."

"Hello, Lumiel. I'm wondering why you called me - and Shaden - here today. Still working on that immortality spell?"

"Yes, but that's not what I'm here to discuss. Apparently, news flies because King Helios was alerted of the nationwide 'power surge' at the moment it happened."

"Lumiel, don't test me; he clearly experienced the 'power surge' himself!"

"Hah, of course. I could keep you here with a large amount of political talk and stuff, but the long story short is the Helios needs people to investigate what exactly is going on and how it is affecting other nations."

"Ooh! Does this mean I get to be an Adventurer again?"

"Yes, but this time it's going to be on a much larger scale than that rogue Golden Dragon incident. You're going to be traveling to nearby realms, possibly even over the whole elemental continent, so please, remember to get a Map and a Pegasus from Eusa at the Stable this time. And please, don't forget the map."

"I didn't get lost too far! Speaking of which, why isn't anyone else here?"

"Well... I'm still deciding on who else to send out. You're a... let's say 'special', case who seems to be really good at handling extremely weird things like the Deck of Fools and the Fallen Ang-"

Possess King

"Hey, if you're going to refer to me, at least do it by name." Lyra's hair almost seemed to flare with energy as a few streaks of black appeared on it.

"Shaden! Can you not interrupt the conversation, at least?"

"Sorry. But I was wondering why you called me -and Lyra- here today for this shenanigans, and since it involves this new energy, I'd love to hear more."

"Well, I'd certainly love to tell you more, Shaden, but I'm afraid I know not much else. But as I said, you and Lyra seem really attuned to investigating these odd things - you with your mumblings about this 'Void', and Lyra with her experiments and explosions."

"That was only once!"

"Well, that is true and I hope you don't hold it too much against me joking about the whole incident. Feel free to start preparing now once you're done asking me questions - if you have anymore questions, that is."

"Well, I don't. Thanks, and I think I'm out.

Possess Queen

"Thanks for letting me know I'm an Adventurer again, Lumiel."

"No problem. Best of luck on your journey."

[It's fine if I include minor NPCs for my own character development, right?]

Sands stirred up around the base, no figures visible in the few inches one could actually see.  Suddenly, as if out of thin air, a crowd of time elementals, almost completely human in appearance and cloaked in makeshift hoods to keep the sand from their eyes, descended upon the lone building,  Quickly.  Once the building was in sight, it was a mad dash to make it to the shelter.  As the last of the elementals trickled in, the building was engulfed by the sands yet again.  It'd be days before it'd be seen again...

"We're back!"  First through the door was a short blonde, his blue eyes happy as he crossed the threshold into sanctuary.  He was the newest recruit. "That raid was so exciting too.  I can't wait for the next one..."

"Well, that was uneventful..."  Kairos pulled of his hood as he brushed past the blonde and made his way to the corner of the room.  His corner.  His only reprieve in the desert, the eternal sands that surrounded him.

Reaching the far corner, far from the rough-housing of the other members of the crew, he sat and closed his eyes.  It would just take some time for sleep to set in...

"TEMPUS!"

It seems that sleep would have to wait.  Looking up, Kairos saw a bulky elemental marching up to him, the crowd parting as they watched on with interest.  He wasn't sure what it was about, but considering that he had shouted his name angrily and was now storming up to him, he could tell it wasn't going to be good.

The muscular elemental stood over him, glowering down as Kairos looked up disinterested.  "Yes?"

It really didn't help that Kairos was too tired to show interest as this seemed to piss the aggressor off.

"Why the hell did you send me back?"

"Sorry, what?"

His contorting with anger, the elemental, well, broke. He  cocked his fist back and Kairos, who was still cornered, brought up his arms to defend, although he knew it'd be in vain.  He was pretty scrawny.

"Cocky brat-"

Reverse Time

Huh?  Kairos had anticipated contact, mostly involving his face and a certain fist, but it failed to happen.  In fact, the elemental had disappeared entirely, leaving nothing but a surprised, and slightly scared, group of onlookers.  They shuffled around uncomfortably as they tried to resume whatever they were doing upon returning to base.

"What the hell just happened?"

"Was that-?

"Remind me to not to piss off Kairos."

But while everyone tried to return to normalcy, it just left Kairos alone to question what had happened.

But of course, it wasn't his time to know.

[I'll revisit this later to refine it.]

Here's my character's start (I also created my own NPC's in my application and included them in this story, if that's fine):

Everything was calm in the Forest of Life. Horned Frogs were just waking up to a bright sun from the east, while immense Emerald Dragons emerged from their large moss-covered abodes. Weary travelers traveling from all over the vast nation woke up from a night of rest and began again their trail to reach peace at the center of the Forest. Yes, all was peaceful, except one thing.
Ferocio Vivis was angry. Storming through an uncrowded part of the forest, he barreled through tree after tree, knocking them and the Rustlers sleeping inside to the ground. He scarcely knew where he was headed, but continued to run with the agility of a Forest Spirit. At long last, he reached a small clearing, silent but for the quiet crackling of flowers opening their leaves to the sun. And then, he saw Gaea.
Almost immediately, Ferocio began to shrink to his normal size (which was still larger than most Hematite Golems), and sat down, exhausted. "Hey, Gaea. I'm sorry you had to see me like that."
"It's OK, Fero. It might have been the energy disturbance I felt just now."
Ferocio sat up, confused. Gaea walked closer, finally sitting gracefully on a log a foot from him.
"What disturbance? I didn't feel anything."
"You probably didn't. There was some surge of energy, and some force ran through me for a second."
"Oh, ok. It probably doesn't matter. What's going on in the Mountains?"
"Nothing much. Terro and my dad had to go help solve a dispute in the Basin. It was those thrifty Time raiders again. Apparently, this time they got a Catapult from Gravity."
"Thanks for telling me. Mom and Dad are trying to get me to pick a suit to wear for my birthday. Want to come to the party?"
Gaea laughed. "You'd never wear a suit, would you? Sure, I'll come. What do you want as a present?"
"Nothing at all. I really don't want this party anyway. I'd rather just roam the forest more. Still, you're the nicest person I've ever met. Thanks for the offer, Gaea." Ferocio leaned towards her.
"Not a problem, Ferocio. I'd do anything for you."
Their eyes met, and Gaea leaned in. Ferocio closed his eyes to the world for a moment, and he only saw Gaea, her beautiful face, her brown, calm eyes, her smooth, auburn hair...
Just as Ferocio could feel her lips on his, he heard a thunderous roar.
"FEROCIO! What do you think you are doing?" Emperor Vivor stood before him, surrounded by attendants and his own steed, a majestic Emerald Dragon.
"Dad! Why are you here? We were just talking about what's going on in the nation!"
"Ferocio, you are supposed to be at home, helping your mother pick your suit!"
"No, Dad! I don't WANT to wear anything formal! I'll just clean my clothes and wear them."
Gaea had gotten up and slowly walked away. "Bye, Ferocio! I'll see you in a few days, at the party!"
Just after Gaea left the clearing, and Ferocio prepared to leave with his father, a tremor shook the land, felling several trees. and knocking Vivor off of his dragon.
"Dad? What was that?"

I hope you enjoyed the first installment. I hope it's okay for any Earth elementals if I took a character from the Earthen Mountains and used her in my story. And @Drake_XIV, I hope it's okay that I sort of tied your story into mine. :)

[Yeah, creating NPCs is acceptable. If you want to write a short description of an NPC and send it to me, I can add it to the opening post.]

Velethan usually reveled in the thrill of his missions, yet this time he was nervous. Nervous because of the unexplainable magic surge that almost killed him - Riding on a Wyrm while the harsh windstorm occurred was not a fun experience. He was all the more determined to succeed in this mission because of this.

Travel by Wyrm was swift and safe, Velethan arrived at this destination in the Gravity Basin in a matter of hours. He had been here many times, but still felt insecure in the presence of the Elementals that were naturally larger than him. After landing, a young Gravity solider greeted him. "Hello sir, we have the catapult ready in the Testing Area."

"Thanks." His Wyrm settled down to consume some nourishment provided by the Gravity Elemental, while Velethan began walking towards the Testing Area. He passed many soldiers - some training, others resting. He arrived at a large building with a sign displaying "Testing Area - Be careful."

"Hey. Velethan, isn't it?" He turned to be greeted by a towering Fire Elemental extending his hand and smiling. "I'm Galnath. Looks like we're going to be working together."

Velethan shook his hand, instantly pulling back and yelling in pain. "Man, your hands are burning!" Galnath smirked.

"I'm Velethan by the way." He said, trying to cool down his scorching hand.

The pair entered the building, standing in awe of their surroundings. The catapults were HUGE. Velethan wondered how even a Gravity Elemental could operate such a gigantic mechanism. "Hey there, I see ya found your way here fine." a Gravity soldier approached them.

He introduced himself as Cameron. "My superior is over there, talking with my companion Iredia. We're both in charge of the Catapult."

All of a sudden, a massive Charger burst into the room and bolted towards the group. Velethan quickly dived out of the way, and even Galnath adopted a defensive stance. Velethan watched in horror as the Charger collided with Cameron and...started licking him?

Cameron laughed and gently separated himself from the beast. He laughed harder when he read the baffled and frightened looks on the foreigner's faces. "Ah, that's Saph, the only tame Charger on the continent. Strange story too, with this one. A few months ago some Life Elemental came to visit, th' first one to ever venture down here. He was some traveling healer or somethin'. He had this type of bond with creatures, like he could understand them. Anyways he approached this wild Charger, and we were all like, no, you're gonna get yourself killed, those things are crazy! But he just held out his hand, and it...it walked up to him, and he petted it! It was amazing! And then he said it was named Saph and it wanted to help us Gravity Elementals. That was a crazy day, fer sure."

"I'll go introduce ya to my partner. We're gonna have this catapult operational in no time." Velethan and Galnath followed the Gravity Elemental and the Charger towards the catapult.

"Well, this will be fun, won't it?" Velethan whispered to his new friend. Galnath simply smiled. "Indeed."

The Superior looked over the group with approval, though he gave Iredia one last critical glance before walking away.
Iredia: Today has been kinda an off day for me... So, The catapult! Few rules about this thing.
It takes Gravity Quanta to use, and can fire just about anything, if it's heavy enough, like about the size of..Say, Saph there,-
Cameron gave her a harsh look, which Iredia failed to notice.
-or one of us Gravity elementals, maybe? Just make sure you don't have an attachment to anything that you throw!
She looked at Velethan, who seemed to be somewhat awestruck at the sheer size of everything.
Iredia: Perhaps a demonstration might be in order eh?

"I'm just wondering...how do you move this thing? A whole crowd of Gravity Elementals couldn't move this one inch." Velethan stared at the gargantuan structure.

Cameron laughed. "If you think this is big, you haven't seen a Massive Dragon. Now THOSE things are gigantic. One of them could easily carry this on its back."

That description of a Massive Dragon unnerved Velethan. Something like that would probably crush a whole city in the Land of Air.

"I assume this catapult can launch us all the way to Etheria from the Earthen Mountains? It's a pretty far distance but I have no doubt something of this size can make it."

Cameron turned to Iredia. "Let's show these guys how we roll. Prepare for a demonstration!"

The ceiling of the building began to retract, creating an opening for the catapult to launch its unfortunate victim. "Get one of those rocks. We can aim at the uninhabited part of the mountains again." Cameron said.

Velethan and Galnath waited anxiously to see this thing in action.

But Cameron had other plans in mind. After Galnath helped him carefully aim the Catapult at an uninhabited area of land, Cameron and Saph loaded a large boulder into it. Cameron took his position at the rear of the Catapult, ready to launch the projectile. He ever-so-slightly nudged the machine a bit to the north, so that it would land somewhere in the deserts of Time. Amazingly, no one noticed.
"This is what you get for stealing from us, you filthy thieves." He pressed the launch button, and watched as the boulder thundered across the sky, scattering a gathering of passing Pegasi as it did so.
