Unstable is a passive that deals spell damage, meaning when Energy Wyrm self-destructs, it can be reflected.  It also deals damage when it is targeted by CC. Unstable checks for Energy Wyrm whenever a new creature enters the field.  That includes as a result of Mitosis, Parallel Universe, and Mutation.  IT NOW CHECKS BOTH SIDES. If Quinted, it will not die by means of Unstable.  But it is still qualifiable for checks.  Meaning Mitosis Energy Wyrm 'works' in presence of a Quint. SERIES:

When I first saw this image, saw the outline of a creature.  A fading creature that was evident one moment and gone the next.  Phasing in and out of reality. Still affected by mass CC when invisible. feels like a semi-vanilla card with some similarities with psion indeed

seems a pretty cool card for some specific strategies imo

Is this airborne? Either way, I'm worried about some OTK strategies involving this, especially it's cheap cost.

Yup. Aether has cards that would synergize too nicely with this. TU, dim shield, silence, quint.

So now the whole point of it is to be some kind of foreveralone soldier? If that's the case people would obviously just stick ONE of these into almost any mono aether deck (or rainbows) and it'd be signifigantly more powerful. And what happens if this gets TU'd? You said unstable only checked when played from the hand. To show you how extreme this is, I bet that I could fit one of these into any of my SoFrepi decks that use nova, and they'd benefit from it.

I meant it checked whenever one came into play as opposed to when attacking, as other checks do.  This means Mitosis and PU count.

Also, there were some other things I had in mind.

Nightmare: In hindsight, not the brightest thing as it doesn't guarantee the opponent has .

Reflective Shield: Copy several to deal 10 damage per Energy Wyrm.

ou should at least word it that "The owner of these takes 10 damage". Even then, that's pretty UP. You sacrifice 8 + 2 cards and need at least 1 + 1 card for only 10 damage? Tell me that's not UP. You still have not adressed my post above.

Nope, 20 damage.  The other Energy Wyrm would trigger too.

Okay, I changed it slightly.

Regarding the past post, no, it was not meant to be alone.  It was supposed to be used in this complicated manner that I saw.  Then again, in doing so, I forgot about how it could be simply used.  And yes, OT pointed out how it could be shoved into a Bow for something cheap without consequences.  Updates have been added as to deter that.

And regardless of a change, it does provide an easier way out of hitting yourself when facing a Reflective shield.
