Event Card:

Notes:
- Generals may choose to reply to the Virtuous Blade thread. If the information posted is complete, correct, posted by the General (and the General only) and... truthful, the team gains cards.
- The four cards gained must all be in-element for that team and no two cards may be the same.
- Cards gained are immediate and may be used in this round's deckbuilding. Cards gained will not impact number of players fielded for this round.
- While auditing the WM should be able to compare what you've written in the Virtuous Blade post to the vault after the deckbuilding phase is over and the Vault scripts have been run. Therefore to be correct the Virtuous Blade post must account for the four cards gained from the Event Card itself.
- Sample post format:
5 Pillars, 4 Pendulums, 3 Creatures, 2 Spells, 1 Permanent, 15 Total In-Element Cards (notice pillars, pendulums, and permanents are all separated)

News:
Two teams were eliminated during Round 7.

Deckbuilding:
Duel phase has started

Teams have to build decks for all players who are fighting during this round. Decks are to be added to the Vault Google doc. Team Strategist works with the doc but all team members participate in the planning. Please do not post your decks in public or talk about them in chat.

All decks must be made ready before the timer goes to zero, after which editing deck post is strictly forbidden. Failure to have all the decks ready will lead to a severe card penalty, and/or automatic losses. It is highly recommended that all team members double-check their decks before the duels start.

Duel phase starts when deckbuilding ends.

PM your opponent and try to find a time that suits you both. Time Zone Converter might be useful here. If you cannot find a time when you are both are online, please contact Warmaster kev immediately. If the match doesn't happen you both lose by default unless one of you is clearly more active and/or flexible.

Duels are "best-of-five", you must use the deck and mark built during the previous phase, and you cannot make any changes to your deck or mark during the round.

Please make sure you record your duels correctly as shown in the Rules:

Well, I don't usually take sides, but ...

If Fire wins, the new forum and old forum will look even more similar. If Time wins, the forum and Wiki favicons will be the same. Air's banner sucks. Go Team Aether!
