Against his Wingsdeck - DBH doesn't like me very much, I didn't get a Discord in the first two turns so I crapped out. I still only lost by one turn surprisingly.

His deck might have been Bonebolt. :))

Against Darkness rush - had a very good draw, turn 1 Lycan then Graboid then Destroyer and HL'd a Recluse en passant. Way too fast for him.

Against Black Hole duo - here we had a little more of a game as he had a nice Pillar split, got out a Bone Wall and a BH. But my Graboids were just too fast.

I must say that after the latest nerf, Discord and Nova seem a lot more balanced. ::)

Thank you for the games jippy! :)

I really wished I could have used this more than once.  No early discord for him, and I strung my wings until I got enough damage to beat him.  It came surprisingly close though.

I got the deck I wanted, but discord came out early and no BH until it was too late.  BWs held up for a little while, but not long enough.
1-3

Good games 10 men, they were fun.  I'm glad I at least got this far in the event.  Good luck to you in the rest of the event.

Laxadarap 3-2 Majofa
After stringing this out over 2 days (probably my fault with my love of stalls) we finally finished.  Honestly suprised there wasn't a UG deck.  Very good games majofa.

Spoiler for DBH vs.  Fracsel?:

Decided to open with dbh, was honestly expecting an aether duo, since I expected him to figure I would use one of my plentiful stalls.  Got a 1st turn discord, as well as fantastic charger draws.

Spoiler for My CC-Bow vs. Fire/Air duo:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
52r 52r 52r 55m 55m 55m 55u 55u 55u 5fb 5fb 5fb 5ia 5lm 5lm 5lm 5lm 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5up 5up 5up 61q 61q 61q 61q 61q 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 6qq 71b 8pk

(Modified this one as well, believe I took out an unupped bone wall for an upped one) Saw a fire mark and thought: UG's, good thing I modded this for steals :D.  Started out with like 3 towers, and took out his pheonixes and dragons (think their were drags, long time ago).  Near end game he was holding cards in his hand, and I was worried that they were UG.  Never found out what they were.

Spoiler for Gravshield(less) stall vs.  PU drags:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58o 58t 58t 58t 58t 58t 58t 592 592 592 594 594 594 594 594 594 595 595 595 595 595 595 749 749 749 749 75m 75m 75m 75m 75m 75m 8pm

Even added in an extra shield, just so I would be sure to draw them.  That obviously didn't happen.  This was basically the hardest counter  known to man, and I drew 19 cards before I died, without drawing a single grav shield.  Slowed him down with some BB, but only drew 2 of them, as opposed to my draw of all 6 plate armors (too bad that doesn't work without shield).

Spoiler for Firestall vs. SS stall:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
55u 55u 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f0 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f4 5f5 5f5 5f5 5f6 5f6 5f6 5f7 5f7 5fb 5fb 5fb 5fb 75m 75m 75m 75m 8po
Modified this before the game to fix amount of ups (can't remember what though, was a faren and other stuff).  Just because I like stalls so much I decided on a firestall with armagios (rage potion fodder as well as useful for stalls).  Kind of a cheap shot, as the 6 cards were kind of extranneous.  He brought a stone skin stall, and a 20-something turn faren didn't really help.  He beat me with 50 hp and stone skins to spare (guessing those were the cards in his hands).

Spoiler for Dune scorp stall vs. Fractal everything:

Was praying to the the elements gods/goddesses that he didn't bring flying Morning glories, I would have basically no counter to that, almost brought an entropy mark dbh, but figured that if he had the light stall sancs would beat it, and it just wasn't as smooth as gravy mark.  RT beats most flying weapons decks, and was a bit worried about adrenastaves.  Worked great with a 2nd turn scorpion.  Started counting poison counters, had 5 sundials so needed enough damage.  Got it at 28 hp and chained sundials ftw.

First off, big thanks to Cheesy for being more than awesome with scheduling, and even allowing me to leave mid-match and finish the next day :D

Unfortunately, I couldn't let him win on that account :/ So bogtro 3 - 1 Cheesy111. Trying to remember what decks I used is meh the next day, but here goes:

Game 1:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5um 5up 5up 5v2 5v2 5v2 7ta 7ta 7tb 7tb 7td 7tf 7tf 7tf 7tf 7tf 8pt

Built to counter RT and other CC, which worked due to him not drawing deflags. My cloaks kept all my damage hidden as it slowly killed him.

Game 2:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4sa 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 590 590 590 590 590 590 5fb 61q 7ah 7n8 7n8 7tb 7tb 7tf 7tf 7um 7um 7um 8pm

1 Pend draw, lots of RTs, but Grabbow OP so yay.

Game 3:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
4vl 4vl 4vl 4vl 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5ul 5ul 5ul 5ul 606 606 606 606 7t4 7t4 7t4 7t9 7t9 7td 7td 7td 7tf 7tf 8pj

[-1 Tower, +1 Steal)

So yeah, this could have gone better. Great start with early disco, messed him up a lot. He stopped some damage with dials and played Sanc. Stole the Sanc in order to keep Devs nomming, when he played a Dim Shield the next turn. Derp. Drew neither of my other steals when I had 5 cards left, and just left since I couldn't overcome healing+more shields at that point.

Game 4:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5l8 5lm 5lm 5lm 5mq 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uo 5up 5up 5us 5us 5us 5us 5us 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 606 7k2 7k2 7k2 7k6 7k6 7k6 7t8 7tb 7tb 7tc 8pq

Yeah, I actually stalled. 41 card deck vs 41 card deck... never been happier to win the toss. So yeah. Wouldn't be able to OTK him since unupped drains, so I ended up killing 5 fractaled drags late-game. He probably didn't have more fractals based on other thread, so yeah. 8 Sancs (6+2 stolen) was wayyy too much healing.
Years ago we had Ronald Reagan, Johnny Cash, Bob Hope, and Steve Jobs. Now we have Obama, no hope, no cash, and no jobs.

5 Novas in the bottom 13 cards meant I couldn't play Discord before Sanctuary and also not Explode the Sanc, so I lost.

Good games.

bogtro 3 - 4 Laxadarap

Great games, very intense match.

Posting decks later. Still wish that my sanc deck could have beaten DBH >:O
Quick synopsis:
Game 1: 41-card stall vs 40-card stall. Yay. 1-0.
Game 2: Disco messed up his firestall early, particularly since he forgot to play his pillars on the first turn. Barely won after playing ALL 4 discords. 2-0
Game 3: Built a quick devtal to beat momoscorps, failed to do so since he had novas and dials. 2-1
Game 4: EQ devs vs. Dishole. First turn discord. GG. 2-2
Game 5: Sanc deck vs. Dishole. Brought Sancs expecting Dishole. Lost anyway. 2-3
Game 6: Ghostmare vs. Sanc deck. Won. Trololol. 3-3
Game 7: We were both basically out of decent options lol. Deathstalkers vs. Catatitans, he got a great draw and outrushed me.

So yeah. We both had pretty good decks considering the restrictions IMO. Although after first 4 games or so we were kind of running out of decent options. Great match :D

Laxadarap 4-3 Bogtro
Great games bog, also hard counters don't exist.  RNG is the only thing that matters.

Spoiler for Game 1-CCLB vs. War decker-Loss:

Saw light mark and thought shiite.  Noticed 41 cards, and yelled zanzarinoing shiite.  My deck with 3 attackers has no chance, left after like 6 turns.

Spoiler for Game 2-Firestall vs. Darkdisco-Loss:

I probably shoulda won this, but messed up and only played 1 out of 4 of my pillars first turn.  Then he got a 2nd turn discord.  Happened to draw all 4 of his discords, while I exploded the first 3 (pretty much turn of, thanks to topdecks).  Lost by probably 2 turns, with disc being his only damage >.<.

Spoiler for Game 3 Dune scorps vs. Devtal-Win:

Expected devs, and this was my counter.  We both had a HORRIBLE start, him with 1 pend, and me without a momentum for 6 turns.  He got out a single dev, which I RT'd, then I drew a momentum.   having started with 4 novas, I just racked up damage, saved a time tower, novas, and dials in hand.  Once he playeed eclipse (after a fractal), I played the tower, dialed, next turn nova, draw/dial.  So on.  Got him down with an extra dial and nova in hand.

Spoiler for Game 4-DBH vs. DevEQ-Win:

Amazing hand.  Started with 1 upped and 1 unupped pend, discord, 2 chargers, and 2 bholes.  1st turn discord kept him off quanta, while I alternated between chargers and bhole.  He got out a vamp dag, saw I had won and left.  Ai got out an EQ (on my perfect 3/3 pend split) and a devourer.  No chance, no matter what deck.

Spoiler for Game 5-Reverse DBH vs. Reverse lighstall-Win:

Got another pretty awesome hand. He had 1st turn, but I got a 2nd turn bhole, then I played discord, and kept him off 3 light quanta (topdecking bholes) until about 50 hp.  By then I had a 13/13 charger, as well as 2 in hand.

Speedbuilt this when I realized he was basically out of viable decks, yet still had  :time mark, and didn't save code, but all should be right except for amount of pends vs. pillars.  He had a messy desynch first game, while mine was good.  Ended up steamrolling ai3 (never actually finished before he started researching, but this is pretty much what it was like:
Spoiler for Hidden:
However, since hard counters had allready failed, we decided to redo it.  Next game I got in, but my hand was invisible, so we searched again.  Got in, had an early sanc (started with 6 quanta sources), then proceeded to get beat down by ghosts, even with a miracle.  Drew quanta sources 6 turns in a row while I was hovering at 2 sancs.  Not really great.

Spoiler for Game 7- Nova'd catatitans vs. Poison-win:

Had built this to deal with devs (scared of running AW off of air mark), and needed a card that would help while being some obscure mark.  Heals fit the bill.  Started out with 2 titans, a nova, a AW, and a bunch of gravy towers.  Got a 1st turn flying titan, and bonewall didn't stand a chance.  Saved my second titan in hand (couldn't draw a nova) because I was afraid of steals.  Played a trebuchet, and topdecked a nova next turn.  Catapulted a titan at 72 hp, bringing him down to 31.  Game.

Great games bogtro, you really suprised me.  Jeez, this is hard when you have to chage a mark each time lol.
