Rutarete 1 - 3 Seraph

I forgot that I was supposed to store all my decks used, so I only have two. And I really could have made a better cardpool.

Games 1 (loss) and 2 (loss) were an Entropy/Darkness duo, and I forgot that we're allowed up to 6 upgraded cards for game 1. The combo didn't really work that well either. I also played the LS too early. His Armagios kept him alive.

Game 3 (win):
Spoiler for Hidden:

This time things went ... somewhat well. I was waiting for a liquid shadow, but I got bored waiting to draw it, so I played two dragons and a PU and trampled his armagio to death, and then his hp. The Lobo helped also.

Game 4 (loss):
Spoiler for Hidden:

Deck import code : [Select]
4vc 4vc 4vf 4vf 4vn 50u 50u 50u 50u 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5uk 5ul 5uu 5uu 5v2 5v2 5v2 606 606 61o 61u 61u 6ts 6u7 6u7 80b 80b 80b 8pu

After several desyncs and server errors, we finally got this final match done. I had been juggling the amount of steals and antimatters I had in the deck because they weren't useful much against the neurodeck, and I did have them in my hand. But, the famous problem of a trio showed up - quanta balance. I drew one amethyst pillar a few turns before I died, not enough to save myself. And for the previous 4 turns I had been drawing darkness pillars all in a row. :( Frustrating RNG.
It is the greatest mystery of all...

Rutarete gets 0 points because of illegal deck?

Seraph 3 - 1 Rutarete

Sorry I don't have the actual decks, because I'm not on my home computer. The decks were "properly documented" and I'll upload them before my next match.

Game 1:
Neuroscorpion deck
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
55k 55k 55k 55k 55m 55m 55m 55m 55m 55q 55q 55q 55q 576 576 576 576 576 576 576 576 5rk 5rk 5rk 5ro 5ro 5rt 5rt 5rt 5rt 8ps

Basically it was all my pendulums, 4 dune scorps, 4 momentums, idk (3-5 I think) armagios, both eternities, and idk reverse times
His cloaks ran out, and his combo couldn't break through the armagios
I had no upgraded cards, because I'm a noob. I have the money, but once again, I'm a noob

Game 2:
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55m 55m 562 562 562 562 562 576 576 576 576 5rk 5rk 5rk 5rk 745 745 745 745 745 745 8ps

I actually hate this deck, basically it was my pillars, 6 elite chargers, idk armagios, idk pendulums, idk accelerations and reverse times. (I'll post the deck code when I get access)
I won by because his combo came out slow, and when it did I already had lots of damage.

Game 3:
Same as deck 1
His combo (dragons and TU) did a lot of damage that quickly overtook the neurotoxin damage. His early lobotomizer limited me to only one armagio gravity pulled and my dune scorps were promptly loboed as well.

Game 4:
Mono gravity
Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55k 55m 55m 55m 55m 55m 55m 55s 562 562 562 562 576 576 576 576 576 576 576 745 745 745 745 745 745 8pl

He had a bad draw apparently, I don't remember him really playing anything

This game I thought to steal his pillars/pends early game to slow down his fractal, as he had commented on having one too little for a fractal in game 2. But, Only one steal had come by mid game.

Took the wrong deck :/
AM on phoenix, wasted CC on his stuff. Might have won if I killed the AM Phoenix, but I doubt it.

RNG's was a bitch. 1 Deflag for the whole game, and he had his lobos out all the time. Nothing I could do here.

PC came quite slowly, but always in time for his Lobo to not cause any havoc.
Also my Nymph did a great job at keeping his deck in check.

Thanks for the great games!

Kaker 3, Rutarete 2

Game 1: Win

I found a new strategy than I had used before. TU the phoenix, antimatter it, and steal the fire pillar. It worked well. Although Kaker did say he chose the wrong deck.

Game 2: Loss

Just a few card changes, not much. I used the same strategy as previous, and it was working very well, until the staff was outhealing my phoenix. And I had I think 2 cards left )or was it 3?) and so it was deckout.

Game 3:  Loss

More minor deck changes, turned out pretty much the same as game 2. I think this was the game I first saw his nymphs, which I promptly Lobo'd. Anyway, RoF did away with my attack force, but it was still pretty even until mid-late game, where I decked out.

Game 4: Win

More minor card changes. I don't remember much of this game's details, but I think I had 2 dragons and a phoenix.

Now at a tie, we took a break for the tourney.
Game 5: Loss

He got an early nymph, and a deflag to stop my lobo-ing. I didn't want to wait for a cloak (which turned out to be a good thing, because it was a while before I drew one. I remember I like the combo I pulled off, involving multiple dragons and antimatters in one turn which was fun, but kaker killed it all. It was this game this thought crossed my mind: "kaker has too much rage" The LS also came in handy, or so I thought it would. It + Antimatter cast on his adrenastaff was promptly raged into a creature with 3 attack :( Good play there.

Thanks for a great time Kaker.
