10 men 3 - 1 bogtro

Didn't expect much against lightning bowxD

Game 1:

Won this by topdecking drags like a boss 2 turns in a row. Lost the deck code but I think this is it.

Game 2:
Same deck as above, -upped garg -tower - steal +pillar +drag +dagger. No drag topdeck this time, easily lost

Game 3 and 4:

Game 3: For the third time in a row, he gets 1st turn arsenic. Never caught up.
Game 4: We both faildrew pretty badly, but he stabilized quicker. Made a mistake dumping quanta on Nightfall, but I don't think it would have made a difference.
Years ago we had Ronald Reagan, Johnny Cash, Bob Hope, and Steve Jobs. Now we have Obama, no hope, no cash, and no jobs.

for all games except that in the first two I had +1 Fire Eater -1 RT I think.
He took a Time splash in the first two and Earth splash in the last two.

The first three games were pretty funny as we both had almost perfect draws in each of them, him with lots of pillars to start out and me with real quick Arsenic (turn one or two always). In the first we traded blows until he won because my QP did not reproduce the quanta to replay my rewound Spirit and Lycan and he ripped two running Dragons to throw on his empty board. The second was the same but I had another QP to help pay my creatures and he didn't find another Dragon in the critical turn. The third he had again his start with tons of pillars but then forgot to switch into creature drawing mode entirely, so he was extremely flooded in the end.
Fourth game we took things a little more slowly with me sitting on only one Nova for the first couple turns while he had only three pillars this time. My Lightnings helped a great deal to fend off his gargoyles while and when I finally drew more quanta I could use my RTs on his Dragon. This slowed him enough for my growing damage to seal the deal.

Thanks for the games bogtro. :)

Good games Jenkar, & thanks for jumping in!

GAME 1: Glad I upped my quanta. Didn't see a single Nova.
GAME 2: 2 Novas and that's it for the game. Not much poison either. However, my start was far too aggressive for him to recover.
GAME 3: Good quanta, slowly got my creatures. He had a poor pillar draw and my 2 EQs didn't help one bit. Baited his Freeze and Toad, got him with Frogs.

I would've gone another road if i had joined as a non-sub.

As it stands now, i think you should drop out in finals so i can sub again (sub you) and win event :D

Oh, right. Forgot about that, sorry. ;)

But 10 men has better chances than me to win this. His choices are far superior.

The_Mormegil 2 - 3 10 men

Didn't really expect to win this one, his choices are far superior to mine. Anyway, I got two games while he was still fine-tuning his decker.

I ran various rainbows. I think:

Against Supernovabow - I did not think this deck through very well and ended up losing because I didn't have Lightnings for his early creatures and couldn't deflag his second Arsenic, while he immediately deflagged my Arsenic and my Fog and destroyed all of my creatures. I got pretty close to decking him (one or two cards left for him in the end) but his Arsenic made sure he pulled through.

Second game:

A little better, my creatures still all died but at least now I had another Fog and another Sanc. This game I got an ok draw and destroyed enough of his stuff so he decked.

The last three games I used this except that I switch upped Arsenics for upped Sancs at some point. This was much better, I only could lose with this if he took a bigger deck and got lucky with his Deflags and I don't draw Phys + Quint early enough, or if I got

game 3: horrible luck, I only had one pillar at the beginning which he deflagged and then kept drawing my quanta really slowly. And on top of that, my Quantum Pillars refused to make Water quanta for several turns so I could not play a single Purify. In the last turn I could have drawn any of my 5 Novas left, one of my two Black Holes, one of my numerous Lightnings, my second Deflag, or my second Fog (which would have had a good chance to block the deciding points of damage) out of my 13 cards left, but I didn't. :))
game 4 and 5 went smooth though, he started with some beatdown, I stabilized with Lightnings, Fog, Deflag, Purify, and Black Hole and then won with Arsenic or Physalia.

Good games Mormegil!
