this should be done once per turn like Warden, its cheap for a Growth creature, but very strong for reducing power. Over time this can really add up.

I will have to vote for this one when / if it hits crucible.

I think it should get healed or gain extra hp when used on a creature with negative attack and reduce the absolute value of the attack by 1 (2). It would end up stealing antimatter then, which tends to heal things (for instance a vanadium warden will heal creatures when it has negative attack. Just my 2  :electrum though... I tend to have wacky ideas like that. Its still quite awesome as is.

I don't understand? Using the ability on one of your own creatures means a net gain of nothing. Do you mean when the opponent has SoP?

I like the idea of stealing from others to grow more powerful. Tought Its a bit sad that the upped version has a higher skill cost to activate it. (some of the elements cards upgraded versions have a skill reduction, like lobotomizer)

Its also a nice staller in a different way than devourer (if the attack penalty remains until the end of the opponent turn) and can reduce the healing in a vampire versus vampire macht (when sometimes you do encounter darkness vs darkness)

the base cost of the upgraded card is reduced by 1, the skill of the upgraded is essentially using the skill of the basic card twice in the same turn, so i doubled the cost of the skill to basically make it the same cost efficiency, but increased speed.

Yeah now that I see clearly how it works (I tought at first that the "stealing wasn't permanent") it sounds like a OK cost, it can increase very bigh with the "fire pumping" spells, but the creature itself is easily killable.

What happens if it "steals" power from "poisonous sources"? and also weird combinations with frozen/stoned? (if its allowed to steal from those, or these are protected from the stealing)?

its just a simple -N|-0 from target, gain +N|+0 for the shadling, that's it. (with N being 1 or 2 for basic/upgraded, respectively).
