ART: Kamietsu and public domain http://www.sxc.hu/photo/1204250 IDEA: moomoose NOTES: Seeing how aether is strongly linked to spells, it makes sense for there to be some way to converge the spells in the game to be used by Aether.  The basic card simply converts the cost to aether quanta, while the upgraded converts the cost and then reduces the cost by 2- the cost of the spell itself.  I haven't found a reason for this to be a very useful mechanic, I just thought it was interesting. It would be so much more awesome if it could at least be conditionally reusable, as you're effectively losing in card advantage with a 1-for-2 (Aether generally tends to pride itself to be good at getting card advantage through efficiency -- e.g. Phase Dragon as creature + quint, Fractal, PU, etc.)

seems reasonable to me, as i couldnt think of a good reason to apply a single one to one spell, applying one to multiple spells may make it more functional.
