UP. Chargers and Gargoyle deals 7 damage for 5  :darkness or 5 :gravity permanantly with extra abilties. This card deals 10 damage, then 6 then lower and lower and costs 6 :aether.

Remember to compare unupped to unupped and upgraded to upgraded.

Unupped Chargers deal 4 damage vs Resonance Spirit's 5-6.
Upgraded Chargers deal 7 damage vs Mirror spirit's deals 7-8 damage

How does it round? You missed 256.

Lets assume a "charger" with a cost of 6 and damage of 5. That will give us a card with a slightly higher damage to cost ratio to test for UP stats.
-Using formula for resonance spirit damage in mathematica which will mimic the proposed damage scheme for resonance spirit:
   If[hpdif != 0, Max[0, Ceiling[10 - 1 - N[Log[Abs[hpdif]]/Log[2]]]], 10]

we get the following tables for our "charger" test and our resonance spirit for a 10 round fight against a 100 hp "Dummy"

That means if you should fall behind your opponent this card would start doing less damage, creating a downward spiral... If this is the case, then a slight damage bump may indeed be in order.

It is true that if you have less HP than the opponent, this spirit also has a smaller attack. But Aether has other cards that help solve the problem
e.g. Dimensional Shield + Immortal creatures can reduce the HP difference and then let your spirit deal a huge blow. You can also use a Lightning to boost the spirit damage greatly if the HP difference is small enough

Or you can simply use Adrenaline to make use of the low attack (see below for explanation)

As OT mentioned in another post, this card can act as a tiebreaker, and I think this card would bring more variables to the game so I'm not gonna change it except a possible cost decrease

But what you suggest is also a good idea. Maybe this idea can be used in a sister card for this ?

I forgot to mention the effect of buff cards. If you use a blessing on Resonance Spirit, the spirit will do 3 more damage all the time regardless of HP difference.

It is also worth mentioning that, the attack of Resonance Spirit is changed at the end of your turn (Similar to Scarabs' HP). So if you use Adrenaline, the attack of the spirit won't change at each attack.

It would be rounded down to 2

if the difference is 17, it is still counted as 16 as long as the difference does not reach 32

P.S. The current art is an eye and its reflection. I know it's not good. I made it when I was playing with the image editor

2. Cost adjustment : Cost is reduced to 5 so it can be used earlier for larger damage at early game. The HP is reduced to 3 | 4 because Aether has got the toughest creature in the game, no need for another strong one.
