i agree, its a novel mechanic, but it is currently very prone to exploitation in decks designed around it. it can effectively turn 0 cost cards into 7-10+ creatures for 2
, which could easily be paid for by a mark or simply using dameflies as the free creatures. but if you were to increase the cost or limit the use range of the card, it would change the use to just the anti-cc mechanism z mentioned earlier, which is much more in line with the cost of 2, now that i think about it.
