NOTES:
A stronger creature from your deck is a creature with a higher cost (at most 6) than the current card targeted.
Examples :
- I target an unupped Dragonfly with Advent and have Firefly Queen and Jade Dragon in my deck. Firefly Queen is automatically selected because Dragonfly can only become a 7-cost creature at best.
- I target a Poison Momentum'd Ray of Light with Advent and Abomination, Deathstalker, and Fallen Elf in my deck. Ray of Light has an equal (33% for each creature) chance to morph into any creature, and will lose Poison and Momentum.

You do not lose cards from your deck with Advent - your creature transforms into a copy of whatever card was randomly selected.

That'd be the most direct use, yes. Since negative status effects don't carry over it could also be used to "recycle" a creature about to die or one that is antimattered. It could also act as a sort of CC to disable annoying enemy creature at the cost of potentially giving your opponent something better. (E.g. Turn a non-time opponent's cards into Pharoahs to slow down damage and get Pharoahs of your own faster.)

does it become a copy of that creature, or do you actually "lose" the card from the deck, like you just played it
seems like a good card to build an OTK combo :P

Interesting concept.
Could be fun.
Balancing it may be tricky. I am assuming that by "stronger" you mean attack and hitpoints. Is this looking at just one or the sum of both? Also, will abilities be factored in?
Whether the glass is half full or half empty is a moot point. It is always filled to the brim. It is only a matter of by what. The real question is: What fills you?

I'm going to speculate that "stronger" refers to the attack.

Now, what if there are no stronger cards in the deck?  What happens then?

A stronger creature from your deck is a creature with a higher cost than the current card targeted.

Why do people never read the notes... /sigh
Moving on there are certainly a large number of possibilities with this. I'm not 100% on balance though. Its got a wide range from being incredibly powerful to doing next to nothing. Ofc that depends on deck composistion.

i agree, its a novel mechanic, but it is currently very prone to exploitation in decks designed around it.  it can effectively turn 0 cost cards into 7-10+ creatures for 2 :air, which could easily be paid for by a mark or simply using dameflies as the free creatures.  but if you were to increase the cost or limit the use range of the card, it would change the use to just the anti-cc mechanism z mentioned earlier, which is much more in line with the cost of 2, now that i think about it.

Perhaps fit in the wording 'slightly' strong creature, where slightly means, say, a cost 5 higher? That might fit the low cost better.
It is the greatest mystery of all...
