If the targeter is a permanent, the owner is attacked. "Targeted" means anything that causes a giant target to appear when using the spell or ability in question. This is a means of reducing Life's vulnerability to CC. It also interacts interestingly with Fractal/Mitosis; if you have more than one Wolf when you cast one of those spells on one, you will be attacked. Pack is a passive ability. SERIES:

Yep. Any buffs should be given before you bring multiple Wolves onto the field.

Are you defining "targeted" as anything that causes a giant target to appear when using the card in question or anything that has no effect against Immaterial creatures?

Not exactly a fan of its negative interaction with Adrenaline when multiple Wolves are present, but I suppose that such a strong ability needs its drawbacks.

The former.

I considered 'whenever Wolf is damaged', but then that weakens it to soft CC. I also considered 'whenever Wolf is targeted with a negative effect', but that's somewhat too variable.

I like the concept.  I suppose you could combo this with emerald shield (or reflective shield) and make a adrena-reflection deck (or a similar, but less-effective blessing reflection deck).
