game 1: win...  pretty tight game . I was wondering what kind of deck I would face after switching for facing him instead of darkness (good choice after all!)  I was spamming all my dimension shields while he was doing the same with his deflags, he ran out before I did and I won in the end.
game 2: win... easier game here, I knew I was facing phoenixes and gotp, so by killing a few Gotp with lightning, my dragons and lobo would do the damage fast enough to kill him.
game 3: loss... I was stuck with 4 dragons in hand early and never managed to put more then 1 in play since I was generating little quanta while he was having all he needed, I lost pretty badly
game 4: win... Easieast win of em all.  Got my lobo on turn 2 and had lots of pends/pillars while he had... 1!  He had no chance to match my quanta and creatures coming out.  I won having 3 dragons and lobo in play while he still had only 2 creatures then if I recall correctly.
My hero of the day goes to my only lobotomizer that I drew in all 4 games!  While it's ability is amazing against phoenixes, I only use it once though and it was in game 2 in a desparate move that didn't paid off!  Quanta was needed for my dragons!
good games inthisroom :)

looks slightly unbalanced to me with the dims and upped phase drags those cost a fair bit i think i would take out the lightnings and put in 3 aether pillars/pends and another lobo, but thats just me. my reason for removing lightnings is because with dims you dont need as much CC but thats just my opinion

0-1 Starting with 2 Pends, deflagged some of his Dimensional Shields but he won closely

0-2 When you have to discard in round 2, it's not a good sign, I started with 1 Pend, he soon had 2 Dragons out and it was over.

1-2 Better quanta, I managed to outrush him and deflagged his shields

1-3 1 Pendulum vs early Dragon and Lobo, it was over quickly

Good games mrpaper, not much I could do there.

Well it sure ain't an optimal deck, but first thing is we build with whatever is in the vault, not whatever we wish but more importantly I built this trying to mindgate the possibilities of a time deck against darkness and while I was oh so wrong about the absence of deflags my deck choice was a good 1 anyway.

lol going the old mono aether again huh? That's almost the exact ideal for mono aether. If I didn't now the results and just looked at the decks, I would've thought that inthisroom would've won due to all those deflags. Looks like the CC was just too much.

Before confirming the deck, Higs and i discussed about exactly that. Don't worry, aether knows the options more than anyone outside of team aether. We have reasons to come up with this deck.

I can't help but wonder, why 5 Deflags if you intended to face me? Just to deal with one duck? ::)
Doesn't look like I would've had much trouble, but eh, gratz mrpaper.

awww... seeing both decks, I'm also a bit surprised at the outcome. But good job, ITR! If you couldn't pull this win, nobody would.
