T'was a battle of urbane nobility in which both honorable parties stood and fought vis-à-vis.

Stalling vs this deck/long games has killed my brain a bit. Bhlewos skipped a class to play now so I felt obligated to play, had no teammates online - where you at ponies! :-[

Wow, crazy deck and a great match. Thanks Bhlewos for the games. Didn't expect this at all, I knew I'd have a shot once I saw longsword and nova but I didn't know what was coming. No chargers, Immolation, some of the worst self CC I could hope for, growth creatures. Real AM nightmare - he didnt even have any dead cards (thought I might see some gpulls). Only three miracles so knew I had to be pretty economical to have a shot.

Game One:  :entropy

He had the mother of all failhands. No quanta cards for like 4/5 turns (nova) followed by a pend and he got running. I drew sanctuary quite poorly and realised he was unaware of my deck at this point so for made sure to make effort to surprise him with little tricks here and there with the AMs after seeing immo#1 but it was downhill further from there. I was pretty worried when he dropped a GFM, and I had no AM on the board so thought I'd try and herp things with a pande, double RT - fantastic :(. Things got worse when I continually sat on 3 sanc for what felt like forever, bouncing AMs on phoenixes after I saw that first immo and on any GFM that got too big. His faildraw had stolen a good 4 or 5 turns off him and the 2 RTs weren't enough to offset that, I drew all the sanc really late but I had 'nuff miracles and I'd styled this game throughout the course to a win - I knew things would get hairy after this one and they did.

Game Two: :entropy

Busted the calculator out for this one since I had to do way too much mental maths in the first one, grabbed my brother and made him write down long term DPT output of the GFMs from each turn. I knew if I did it too early I wouldn't get the proper benefit and if I did it too late in the game he'd have pulled all the neccesary cards to self CC after them doing too much net damage and beat me down. I had a poor draw on sanc again and he had a good start hand. I just followed everything I knew, got a little lucky with a phoenix when I expected double immo but thought it was worth the risk. It played out with one hairy moment when I needed some CC on a 20 attack GFM and had no AMs, late pande didn't give any RTs and froze it long enough but I had a spare miracle in the end just had to drop them on the right turn and keep myself well safe.

Game Three: :entropy

Second turn GFM and I was cursing. I stuck to my gameplan and got the job done in the end, got a nice draw on sanc this game which made me happy.

Once again thanks for the games and fun Bhle and Team Gravity, tense games and the deck was very awkward to play against.

Match #1:
HORRIBLE hand. No pends or pillars at all for the first four turns or so. Finally got a Guard out, waited a bit to test CC, then played a few more. Panda RT'd two of my three creatures...that was the only good thing that happened in the game. I used all of my CC to counter the AMs. BU the onslaught of Miracles, Miracles, Miracles decided the game.

Match #2:
Decent hand this time, a single Pend and Nova. The only mistake I made was an Immo one turn too early -- of course he played an AM right after. Did the same thing again, even BB'd a -14 ATK Fire Eater at one point. Again, despite having enough CC to counter the AMs, it was the Miracles that won the game. He even had an extra one to get him an EM at the end...

Match #3:
Sort of got my game on by this point, getting the feel for self-CC timing. He had only three Sancs for the majority of the game, so I tasted victory several times as I got him down to ~30 HP. It only made it more bitter when he played his Miracles.
