GG's Oni.

Game 1: LOSS 0 -  1
I started with 4 pillars and 2 novas, which was decent.  I saw the Aether mark and thought, Devtal, yes!  Then saw him PU and LS one of my Dragons.  He PU'ed it three times, so I decided to play my Fog Shield.  I got another Nova by this time and had a Deflag in my hand in case he stole it, so I thought why not?  Like I thought, he plays a Steal.  But then, a Cloak.  :-\

Game 2: WIN 1 - 1
No idea what to say here, since I mostly forgot  Here's the pretty picture I was going to use though:

Game 3: LOSS 1 - 2
We both had decent starts.  I played a Shrieker and burrowed it to prevent PU's.  I also had a Dragon in hand and 10+  :air quanta, but he also had a stockpile of Aether Quanta and an almost full hand so I didn't play it.  At one point I see his  :darkness quanta rise above 12, which meant he could start playing his Obsidian Dragons now.  Thinking I safe (sort of, not really) I played all my creatures down.  He PU's and LS's my dragons though, and doesn't play any of his own.  Thanks to the LS's, I'm barely damaging him while he takes large chunks of my HP per turn.

Game 4: LOSS 1 - 3
I had a good start, but sort of bad damage output.  He outrushed me, pretty much.

PU/LS wins again!

Gratz to both players here, nice to start the round off with a win.
I ask nothing of humanity but fairness in all things, but I do not expect even that.

Interestingly enough, this deck won decisively against a near carbon copy of your deck in the trainer, even with the AI screwing up every second card played.

And just a couple months ago people were saying that cloaks were under powered...

I bet you forgot to add the all decisive mark!
Congrats Oni and ggs Air, I wasn't really sure what you were intending to bring (yay for it not having Holy Lights).
Best part is where we get 9 cards from this yummy deck :)

Strongest Darkness deck so far in this war imo. Very solid all round deck and not easy to counter.

I'm happy to see it's been used already but sad since we'll bring a dedicated counter against it this round...

Mark of darkness (card) in a deck with an aether mark.  Had to put it in one of the decks and only Oni had one?

Hm, yes, Cloaks help a lot with this deck's main weakness. I've always loved it :>
