My my my. Of all the decks Air could have fielded, the Discord deck was one of those I feared the most. I tested against a tougher version of it and got about 50-50, this was way easier thanks to less Discords and less damage.
MATCH 1:
Entropy mark = Discord deck with Dragons and possibly AMs. I knew there would be some dead cards in there, but not too many. I got a one pend draw, but topdecked another two right away and started accumulating quanta vs his early Discord. I had some initial discarding problems since I didn't know what I faced, but felt it safe to discard the Thorns and a Heal. I was right, as my Elixirs and later some Bolts cut through his dragons effortlessly. He misplayed a bit using a BE right away on a Dragonfly and wasting a free Permanent destruction next turn, but that wasn't a true issue. I counted his creatures and got down to 2 Discords, 1 Flying Weapon, 1 Owl's Eye, 4 Shockwaves or AMs, 1 Maxwell, 2 Dragonflies, 2 Amethyst Dragons, 1 Azure Dragon and 1 Sky Dragon. The top damage wasn't that threatening, but whatever, I decided to play it safe in all cases and went for a deckout.
MATCH 2:
One pend draw, got another two in the first 5 draws. Then waited a lot more for the next one. His Discords were in the last three cards of his deck, fortunately, so no problem there. Got rid of pesky Dragonflies right away and took another deckout win.
MATCH 3:
Four pends, second turn Staff, Thorn before he got a Discord so there weren't any problems whatsoever this time. Just killed everything in sight, took care to have more than 80 hp every time for blitzes and decked him the third time.
The testing payed off. 8)
