Game 1: Both of us had low-quanta starts- 1 pillar for me vs 1 nova for him. He quickly drew his second and came out the gates, while I drew only 1 nova, and he immediately had the lightning for the shrieker. A fog shield on his side didn't help matters.

Game 2: He had a good start, again with a fog shield blocking a lot, and a discord not doing too much (well, except for damage). It came down to a moment where I had 2 adren'd creatures (shrieker and 7/7 forest spirit) and a frog, and he was at 15 with a fog shield, but his weapon dealt the last hit through my own. So close.

Game 3: Not much to say here, I had a 1-pend start vs an early discord. Couldn't even get out a graboid.
