If i undestand correctly these shards stack like permanents..opponent can draw up to 8 cards a turn(4xshard) and if u got 5xshards then opponent draws 8 and destroy 2?

No, as you can see from both the icon and the table entry, this shard is a spell, like Shard of Divinity, Shard of Patience, Shard of Sacrifice, Shard of Readiness. For now, only Shards you can stack are Shard of Void and Shard of Gratitude. We will likely see Shard of Conscience stacking too.

Shard of Sacrifice stacks.
True that. But not as a permanent. :)

im confused by what it means that after the eighth, cards are destroyed. is that in a single turn? or is that from the beginning of the match?

As of now, it's a bit UP, lower the cost or make it so that both players can draw.
Also, unshard it pl0x. It's not even a permanent, why does it have to be a shard? :)

Why don't you just make all other spell shards un-sharded? Give some reasoning please. (reasoning as to why it shouldn't be a shard. UP is one thing, but a shard is another.)

I like the mechanic; good synergy with stalling of any kind :)

It means that your opponent draws cards until he has 8 cards in hand - the max - then, if you have a Mark of Fire, the cards he cannot draw since he already has the max number of cards are destroyed instead of played.

As of now, it's a bit UP, lower the cost or make it so that both players can draw.
Also, unshard it pl0x. It's not even a permanent, why does it have to be a shard? :)
This card originated from a discussion in chat with Napalm, Higurashi, 10 men and some other people which I'm sorry but I forgot about the new Fire Shard - which is supposed to make the opponent draw cards. Knowing that making your opponent draw is likely to be the most useless effect ever, I had this idea to make it combo well with Nightmare and creating a good card which is totally not OP. As resource destruction through direct discarding is terribly powerful, I made it this way so that the benefits are balanced by obvious negative effects. It's a deckout helper, but not that much, and combos well with quanta deprivation too. All in all a card that is mostly useless if not terrible in mono-fire, but works nice in many other decktypes, including fire deckers.

is it possible to write it as, "if your mark is  :fire, cards drawn after opponent's hand is full are destroyed." or some variation of that. i think that it could be made more clear what the benefit of a fire mark is.

Seems a bit UP. I'd have the upgraded version cost 4 and also destroy anything beyond the 7th card, slightly restricting hand size in the unlikely event your opponent fails to play out cards to avoid the destruction and enjoy the free Hourglass effect.
