Beware, they come..

Lady Aether stared pensively at a chessboard in front of her. The Phase Dragon Matriarch on the other side of the table gave off a low grumble as the Lady made her move.

Marisa smirked. The Matriarch spoke slowly.

- Lady, I think it’s time. The Dragons are restless.

She nodded as the Matriarch moved a piece.

- Do you have your officers ready?

- Naturally. Check mate.

- What?! Ah.. I’ll never beat you, you scamp.

- Hey, respect your elders, Granny. And you will; it’s a game with a finite number of outcomes.

- That may be, but it’s a human’s game.

- Feel free to invite me to a dragon’s game some day.

- If I think you’d survive it.

The Lady arose and turned around to enter a portal. The Dragon smiled and mumbled “Be careful.”
In the blink of an eye, she stood before her amassed Army once again.

At her side, seven humanoids gathered. Two of them she had managed to keep since the last Great War. There were many others that would listen to the Universe as she would, however.

- Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go!, one of them chanted jubilantly.
EvaRia, the fiery wind and bane of entropy, had not left the Lady’s side. She was as energetic as always.

- Milady. It’s an honour to serve you again.
UTAlan, the honorable warrior, now had experience on his side in addition to all his skills.

- Let me at ‘em, Marisa. I’m itching for a fight, I am.
mrpaper, the prodigious duelist, had returned to his native realms of Aether. With him, he brought the fears of his opponents.

- Lady, I’ve compiled a list of everything ever. Please take a look at it soon.
hainkarga the diligent had finally found his way to some of his favourite dimensions. He was home at last.

- Argh! Lightning! Thunder! Die! Destroy BL! I mean.. AETHER FOR LIFE!
Odii Odsen the devastator had lent his abilities to the Lady in these times of war. There was no calming him down.

- Myes, quite. Good show sir. Aether all the way indeed.
markilleruk, the Yankee tamer, had found a place in the Immortal Army where he had access to an endless supply of Americans to annoy.

- Yahoo! We’re gonna have so much fun!
Shaliyah the cheerleader happily joined the Lady with a zest that motivated her team to a different level.
- Hey! I’m no cheerleader! I’m royalty, you know.
Okay, fine, Shaliyah the royal mascot then.


Lady Aether stepped up to address her entire army once more. The Fourth Great War was smaller than the previous ones, but the number of dimensional beings before her stretched beyond the horizon of this particular gigantic phase platform.

- MY IMMORTAL ARMY!
An inhumanly powerful roar shook the dimension as she drew her Shamshir sword and called to them. A shiver ran down her spine.

- The universe hungers for bloodshed once more. Much time has passed since last we dominated the fields of battle. I recognize many of you, even with the scars you have. It has been peaceful for too long, has it not? We need to cull the weak again and prune the evolutionary tree.
Come with me, Immortals! WE GO TO WAR!

With Lady Aether at the front, the Immortal Army began marching through the giant portal. It groaned and creaked with the massive numbers as if warning what was to come.

Eh, you know what they say about Pylons. No matter how many you build, you always need more. None were destroyed last War since our base of operations is far from the battle, and now everyone have even less resources, so these ones should hold.
