Now that Shard of Readiness allows instant usage twice for Time creatures you can get really fast Scarabs with a deck like this.

Using SoR on a Pharaoh will cause it to be able to spawn 2 additional Scarabs for free, even when you've already used SoR on it that same turn to spawn Scarabs.

Haven't really found the optimal build, less Precogs and more Mummies/Rewinds might be useful to increase the chance of an early combo (at the cost of potential of spawning scarabs faster).

If it gets it's combo by turn 2 it can beat most elders in 6 turns.

I sooo love this deck, using it with 5 mummy, 5 RT, 1 explosion and only 2 precog.

I've never tried a death deck, but this looks really interesting especially with the shard update.
Personally think that there is way too much entropy quarta left over, but I guess changing the mark to entropy and having death towers would slow the deck down a bit.

Also noticed that there isn't any gravity quarta. Does SOR on pharaohs also give free skills for the scarabs, or do you rely on their sheer numbers to take down the hp?

Supernova generates your Time and Gravity quanta, but scarabs rarely get the opportunity to eat something before an elder is already dead.

You get gravity quanta from supernovas, and casting SoR on a scarab will give it a free devour every turn.

Ahh of course, didn't notice the difference in numbers of SOR and numbers of RW + mummy, and thought that 12 quarta would not be enough for all those scarabs.
Still Find it a little hard to believe that it can take down 200 hp in 6 turns. Therefore, gotta try it myself

The extra SoRs are for extra Scarabs from the Pharaoh actually, and elders (level 3) only have 100 HP.

veeery nice, i was trying to get 1st turn readied pharoahs using unupped nova, this looks much improved, with the possibility of adding other PSN type things like explosion for shields... or even something like Baselisk blood to use against creatures too big to eat. Very nice, well built deck
