Sudden Titans (One Turn Kill) (Semi-Permalink)
« on: September 11, 2011, 12:36:55 pm »
I was considering variations on the Draw.Gon deck which draws the entire deck, then plays a combo using dragons, sky blitz, and Chimera to one turn kill the enemy bypassing shields:

I was trying to find a better core combo.  I found one involving a flying Titan, that you use 3 Rage Elixirs on and then Parallel Universe, then sky blitz.  This gives you 2 50/32 creatures with momentum that deal 100 damage in one turn.  Chimera is not necessary because Titans already have momentum.  The basic fully upped Draw.Gon deck uses a 6 card combo powered by 6 Supernovas (costs 12 quanta) - this one is a 7 card combo powered by 5 supernovas (costs 9 quanta), so it's basically the same.

The deck plays almost exactly the same as Draw.Gon.  Why might you want to choose this deck over Draw.Gon?

Well, suppose the one turn kill doesn't work because your opponent has more than 100 hit points.  Instead of one chimera with about 20 hit points and with gravity pull on it which means it could get killed easier, you have two Titans that each have 32 hit points and do not have gravity pull.  They're more likely to survive and finish your opponent off.  Though there is the trade-off that the Sky Blitz wears off and the Titans go back to 50 combined attack instead of 100 (whereas the dragon chimera stays at 100).

Also, when Sky Blitz is upgraded this deck can tolerate one Black Hole and still pull off the combo, unlike Draw.Gon.

The essential upgrades are the Rage Elixirs and the Supernovas.  The sundials should be unupped to get better mulligans and also Flying Weapon should be unupped so it always takes from air.

Err... are weapons affected by sky blitz? I was under the impression that they weren't.
Edit: Lulz. Trainer has proven me wrong :o

About 9 - same as Draw.Gon.  Most of those turns are protected by sundials.
