Nice idea. The only aspect I don't like about it that it openly favours Earth creatures, and shards, although they're always connected to an element, never do this.

Mass DOT? Well, check me in on this. Price is about right if you consider that the upped version deals as much damage as a RoF... although with other limitations. Very anti-rush like card.

dot = damage over time, rof is a nuke, 3 damage at once.  with only 1 damage per turn for only 3 turns, there are means to have your creatures avoid death in that time span, or simply to have extra turns of living.
