Rather powerful, as all this takes is devourer presence and a good drain life and it was almost nothing...

Interesting card. Reminds me of patchx94's series, Bloodwork (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,19586). I also thought of health at some point becoming a Pseudoquanta (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,27033.0.html) but it has not... yet.

Aside, setting an enemy's quanta to 0 bothers me a bit. The ability to change it to 0 whether they have 1000 quanta in total or 1 seems wrong to me.

My take on something like this might be something like this:

Bloodletting
Pay up to 10HP and gain a Purify counter. Enemy loses quanta equal to the amount of health lost.
OR
Blood Infusion
Pay up to 5 HP. Add the amount of HP to the attack of 1 creature for 1 turn.

i was thinking this should have more of a risk by using a bolt mechanic.
it cost more hp/quanta

im not thrilled with something with a more powerful draining ability than black hole, especially when it can have pests perpetually drain quanta in subsequent turns in a mono-deck
