

My entry into the Shield Competition. I know Death already has two shields, but it seemed fitting with the themes of sacrifice and desolation.
Simple enough; if you discard a pillar, you don't take any creature damage. This might be dramatically OP; I considered both reducing all damage by 3 or 4 (or 2), or limiting creatures to over 4 attack to doing damage, or even a simple % hit decrease. Here's the kicker; if there's no pillar discarded, you lose the shield. The entry stands as it is now, however, despite what changes I may later make.
