Game 1: WIN
Absolutely retardedly awesome RNG love is all I can say.  Won the coin flip with an opening hand of 1 BH, 1 Discord, and 5 quanta cards of which 3 were upped Entropy so I had a Discord out before he could even get his first quanta.  After that it was a slow go with me pecking away and drawing enough BH's to keep him locked down until drawing my first Abomination 15 cards in.  I picked up a Purple Dragon shortly after but even RT couldn't save him at that point since I had stockpiled so much quanta it was ridiculous.  Pretty easy win with him playing nothing really.  I slow played my pillars after the opener just in case he was using a Nightmare deck but when he finally hit enough quanta to play a GoTP and didn't I figured it was safe now to empty my hands in later games.

Game 2: LOSS
RNG giveth, and she taketh away.  Another coin flip win and a decent opening hand but no Discords.  I tried to slow him down my GPing his first 2 Devourers but he got a couple more in the top half of his deck and started playing Devonian Dragons.  Really not much I could do at that point as my first Discord appeared 15 cards into my deck and he was able to get 2 Devonian and 1 Black dragon out.  He was able to Steal my Discord just to add insult to injury.

Game 3: WIN
You can call this a combination of RNG and the Event Card.  Another coin flip win (turned out going first was crucial to winning) and a decent opener but again no Discord.  This time I held on to my 2 Abominations so I wouldn't get RT locked and just kept drawing hoping for something.  He got an early Devonian Dragon to hit me a couple turns but I had amassed lots of Entropy quanta so 14 cards into my deck I drew the second Purple Dragon and the race was on.  He was able to RT it but I had enough amassed to keep replaying it.  His second Devonian Dragon came out and it was neck-and-neck.  This is where RNG blessed me again, as my 16th card was my lone upped Discord.  He was loaded with Darkness quanta so I decided playing it was foolish since he'd just steal it and instead dropped an Abomination praying he couldn't RT and of my creatures so I could scratch out a win.  More RNG luck when he couldn't and he played a Black Dragon.  My 9 remaining Entropy quanta was just enough to let me play my Abomination and the upped Discord giving me just enough damage to kill him.  No event card means no upped Discord which means I lose this with Jen-i at 1hp.

Amazing games Jen-i.  For our first PvP against each other it definitely lived up to expectations.  Best of luck to you and Team the rest of the way.

I was afraid of facing Discord BH - but I figured they'd use it in other match ups - I can't be prepared for everything.

Game #1:
I lost the coin toss - he played a first turn discord - I lost horribly

Game #2:
I lost the coin toss and started with a 1 pillar hand - very slow start, but I saw no discord for quite a while - I ended up rewinding his creatures and dragoning him to death

Game #3:
I lost the coin toss and started with a 1 pillar hand - again a slow start, but he didn't kill my early devourers this time - he dropped 2 dragons to match my 2 and ended up out damaging me for the win. A Reverse time on my part or less upped cards on his would have given me the game.

Allthough I still think it's a bit unfair, it's good to see event cards actually make a difference.

Dunno what to think of it except that these two matches seemed very tense and exciting. Good job both of you and good luck to both teams.

P.S. Beating discord/BH without shields or sancs is no small feat, so congrats Jen-i for the good showing.

If you went first, and didn't draw any creatures until late game, why does it matter whether they were upped or not? just one upped entropy pillar or two unupped pillars ensure a second turn discord, which is still first turn in the eyes of Jen-I?

it doesn't really matter, but that doesn't mean it isn't lucky

He's just saying he got his discord out in the fastest possible way, wich would be his 1st turn.

If you look at my deck you'll notice it only has 2 upped Amethyst Pillars and 2 upped Entropy Pendulums in it.  Drawing more than 1 of them isn't uncommon.  Drawing 3 of 4 plus a Discord in the opening hand is incredible luck.  That was my only point.
