Well, i pretty much had the perfect counter, so the matches were like walk in the park... NOT! BatCountry couldn't show up, so Zery took her place. It seems it takes a good player and a "perfect counter" in order to have a chance vs the Grandmaster himself. He really deserves that title.
Game 1 was fine for me, not that intense. Managed to deflag 2 arsenics early and had purifies. He did hit couple of TU on my steam machines, which made me realize - yeah, i shouldn't grow them too much.
He promised he will break the laws of nature and win the second game and - Oh joy! He did. I was really careful about how many steam machines I play at the time, how much i grow them, also trying to surprise attack him for the win with phoenixes, but his calculations were always perfect. He drew 3 arsenics way too early for me to be able to do something about it.
Game 3 was incredibly intense also. In the end, i thought i was gonna lose for sure. I was even 1 turn away from losing, looking at my 1 remaining card in the deck, holding my head saying to myself "this can't be happening". Fortunately, it wasn't happening. He had zeru.. i mean - zero cards left in his deck which i didn't even notice until he pointed it out after the match was over.
Anyways... Very well played, Zeru. You are an incredible player and it was a real honor to play against you.
