ART: | Nymph Queen from Zanzarino, Modified by Zblader
| IDEA: | Zblader, with inspiration from Sir Valimont
| NOTES: | "Once, years ago, everywhere that Jezebel's tears would fall, a beautiful but forlorn spirit was born. Today, the Painted One has gathered those spirits around her, and makes her triumphant return to the highest order of Elementals with her entourage of many colors -- and many powers -- holding her aloft." -Excerpt from The Essence's "History of the Neo-False Gods"
Spoiler for Backstory: "BEGIN THE EXPERIMENT!" Chaos Lord laughed crazily as he witnessed the two nymphs being forced towards the chamber. On each side of the chamber stood Graviton and Fire Queen - both looking very doubtful.
"Chaos, I know you might think this is a good idea and all, but is it really a good idea to sacrifice two nymphs for this?" Incarnate grunted.
"Let them be - the majesty of Life should've never been disrupted." Elidnis snapped.
"What gives the right to say that? Let life experience change - they were clearly fated to do so." Destiny retorted.
"I know what I'm doing." Everyone stopped as they looked at a suddenly calm Chaos Lord - he usually wasn't calm for more than 2 seconds, but this calm lasted 5 minutes. He hadn't changed after that.
"I know that you're all annoyed at our dismal failiure - we get beat down by those Grinders everyday. We organized the League, but now the Elementals have taken over not just that but the rest of our power." he looked at a gagged and tied-down Jezebel, who had struggled furiously to protect her children, and chanted,
"Antimatter."
The magical bonds holding Jezebel were obliterated.
She lunged at Chaos Lord like a feral animal, but he simply grabbed her by the wrist and held her.
"Listen. I've been an False God longer than all of you. I may be the most insane, but that justifies little what I'm about to do. I need this to work.
If I fail to keep either of your your Nymphs alive and living, kill me where I stand. This is my last bit of sanity talking to you, the me back when the War was still young and we were all oridinary Elementals, called by our Elements to fight.
I am risking the last thing I have treasured so long - my last bit of sanity. I either die with it or stand succesful.
So, please.... just this once... trust me."
All the false gods looked at each other, then at Jezebel.
"Your choice." Morte whispered. "We won't stop you."
The silence could've lasted a second, 5 hours, an eternity.
Finally, her lips moved.
"Go ahead."
Without showing any emotion, Chaos Lord walked over to the conductor and fired a huge burst of chaos energy at it. At the same time, Graviton and Fire Queen fired their new energies into the chamber.
The contraption that Akebono had build was going as planned - Graviton and Fire Queen immediatly disconnected from it due to the intended slimness of their conductors, but Chaos Lord remained connected, channeling the energy, his mind and mentality powering the extremely concentrated mutation he had planned for a week.
The contraption exploded into a ball of energy, and with it was consumed the mad scientist, his last venture and his last two "test subjects".
... Or so one would think. When the light cleared, a gasping Chaos Lord stood, briefly laughing, then calm, then angry, then crying.
"I did it. And I'm fine...." he gasped, before collapsing, exhausted.
The False Gods began to start towards him, but all heads turned towards the soft glow emitting in the center of where the contraption used to be. The wreckage seemed to be dissolving, tainted with a strange liquid that caused it to rapidly rust and dissolve.
"Beautiful." Murmured Decay, his only word breaking the silence. The Water nymph's skin had turned a pale green, a kind different than that of a Life Nymphs. Her body had not changed otherwise - she remained as beautiful and perfect as ever, her blue aura replaced by a strange yellow-emerald one.
Her sister, the Entropy Nymph, was now embedded with a purplish-pink glow, with a light and soft aura that revitalized all the False Gods, even the extremely tired Chaos Lord.
"Finally..." Jezebelle whispered, "We wield Nymphs that the Oracle nor the Nymph Queen command."
Near the overjoyed False Gods and their two Nymphs, a dark cloaked figure grinned. Chaos Lord would find that his sanity would return slowly - for the better of both his fellow False Gods and himself.
In the Sanctum of Light, while the Oracle was giving advice on a vision he had to the Pegasus and the Sleight of Time, he collapsed, shuddering at intense visions he suddenly began to receive, of none other than a certain group of Elementals.
"Oracle?!" He could only respond with a wheeze. "What's wrong?"
"...machine...horror...nymphs..." was all the Oracle could whisper before he fully collapsed, unable to say anymore.
"Cowboy, get him to the Sanctuary!" the Pegasus commanded.
"I told you, X, if you're going to call me that call me Spike!" the Sleight replied before lifting the Oracle and accelerating time. | An alternate method of healing - you draw power from your pillars and pendulums to regain energy and lost health.
This card is part of a new series of rare cards that can only be obtained through the False Gods : Revolution. The FGs from time will attempt to discover new pseudo-elements - this one represents the Energy element, thought up by Sir Valimont.
How it works: After you win 10 times against the FGs, the Oracle will warn you that you are about to face "enhanced power" the next time the FG is fought. The FG may or may not also gain special conditions along with having copies of this card in his/her deck, as well as an additional title to indicate that you're not facing the ordinary version of the FG this time.
How the card is obtained: After you beat an FG, the card automatically reverts back to it's unupgraded form in the spins. Even though it make seem not-so-great as a result, it's still worth a bit of coin (being a rare) and the cards can end up being pretty useful in different situations as well as creating new strategies.
In the case of Nymphs, you cannot get these from the Oracle - they will show up unupped in Jezebel's spins. If any other player or Ai besides Jezebel wields these, they will show up as relics. (Note : This only would happen if the False God Revolution concept made it into the game. If this card was implemented normally it would be obtained and treated like any of the other nymphs ingame.)
Special Conditions when fighting Jezebel - Enemy of the Oracle Copies of Acid and Energy Nymphs are included in Jezebel's deck. Jezebel's mark(s) will be immaterial, preventing the drawback from Acid Nymph affecting her. Jezebel also gets several Quints that she will try to get on her Acid Nymphs ASAP, in order to prevent Acid Rain from affecting them.
Strategy Since Jezebel's strategy doesn't change much, Shak'ars is still of the better choices to wield against Jezebel. In terms of Acid Nymph, the Voodoo Dolls will easily shrug off the blows, and PA will disrupt the Energy Nymph's ability.
Don't try to include any low-hp creatures in your deck though - she'll easily rip them apart with Acid Nymph (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,24781.0.html).
