First game: I had absolutely no idea what he was playing. He had tons of and to boot midgame, no creatures or anything. He did throw up some Dim Shields though, so I assumed he was playing a Fire Lance Sudden Killer. I throw up my first Owl's Eye only to have it deflagged, that's when I started to suspect he wasn't playing an OTK, and threw up my Bone Wall. I kept flying the Owl's Eyes so he couldn't deflag it, and waited out the Dim Shields he started to throw up mid game. I thought I was going to be decked out, but luckily he eventually ran out of shields and succumbed to my flying Owl's Eyes and the lone Sky Dragon.


Second game: He had an excellent start with pillars and pends. I got a nice start with flying my Owl's Eyes and early Bone Wall as well. He never threw up any Dim Shields this time. Around mid game I had him at critical health; that's when he played two dragons, TU'ed them several times, and deflagged my Bone Walls. I was completely surprised to see a dragon power bomb. Luckily he had no previous damage on me and my Bone Walls held.

Great counter to this deck by Air. I had win conditions, but I was nowhere close in the first round and I didn't draw the cards I needed in time in round 2.

Round 1: Drew one TU the whole game. Got through all my phase shields but all my TUs were in the bottom of the deck, so I never had a chance at breaking bone wall. Plus I was light on fire quanta the whole game. He easily waited me out.

Round 2: I had a great quanta start and got cards I needed. Ultimately though, he had too many Owl's Eyes out before I hit the win condition. If he had played his Dragon, that would have helped too, since that would have been better TU material I was glad I didn't show him what I was playing in round 1, but I don't think he ever drew it. Never drew the Phase Shield I needed anyway. Drew quanta throughout the match well after I needed more of it. I would have had to hit a very specific card combo to beat him in time, and it wasn't there.
