this+purify=great defence.
And purify is cheap and easy to splash in decks, so it would be amazing. Im not sure that a mechanic like this is balanced(i mean, make all damage poison, then pack purify and it does not matter what happens, you will always have a chance to heal back to full(in the turn they give you the poison, you take no damage, using a purify next turn prevents all the damage by destroying the poison counters, or thats what i understood).

seems to be a little up 'cause it only delays the damage but turns it into something worse, recurring damage over time,
only usable if you got an infinite amount of purify  :P

Yeah, I don't think that this would be too useful.  Purify can only be used 6 times.  That's six turns of no damage and then damage multiplies after that.  I'm not a huge fan.  Seems to random.  You're just relying on having Purify be the next card in your deck.  Inconsistent.

hm...I'll see what I can do for art. I can't guarantee anything though.

And I'd prefer to use purify on the turn before I would die of poison, then use a different source to heal back up to near-full health, and repeat the process. Requires a weird rainbow or trio though that way.

Keep in mind however that :death Death's powerful manipulation of impending doom comes at a cost, the incoming damage is no longer linear, it's exponential and not knowing how to use this shield will come with a serious cost, your demise.

Bah, I wasn't trying to flame, but using this shield successfully seems more luck-based rather than on strategy. Fractions tend to get -highly- ugly. If the poison conversion isn't enough I may raise blocking amounts or decrease cost.

Maybe half of the damage rounded up could be better. It's a nice idea, but it risks to be very unbalanced modifying it. :/
