Talk about a blast from the past! This competition hasn't seen the light of day since the early days of the forum, and now you have a chance to participate!

We've all seen what you've had to say in The Buff/Nerf This Card sections, or maybe you had entirely different ideas for cards in the game, and now you get to show them off. In this competition, we are asking you to take a card that already exists in the game and changing it up. Maybe you never liked Otyugh's devour ability. Now you can change it so it spews forth stomach acid all over your opponents creatures damaging them!

The ideas are limitless and we want to see what you can come up with.

Rules & Requirements

1. Do not post your card rework anywhere else but in this thread. These cards will not be going into the Smithy, Crucible, or any other level of the Card Ideas and Art section. These are competition only cards.
2. Please use the template provided for you at the bottom of the Rules & Requirements section.
3. Please keep any discussion on entries or the competition itself on topic at all times. When commenting on a card, do not offer small unhelpful comments such as: "This card is really cool." "I don't like this card." "It was better before." "This card is a big improvement."
4. If you need help getting the image for the card, please ask me or one of the other Competition Organizers to help you.
5. Although not required, Planplan's Card Image Builder located Here (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?action=pages;sa=8) or Here (http://helltgivre.free.fr/elements/card.html).
6. You may not modify the card's image or change the card's name. Any entry that has done so will not be accepted.
7. When changing the card, try to keep the theme of the element the card is in.

NAME: Fractal ELEMENT: Aether COST: 6 TYPE: Spell ATK|HP: TEXT: Gain up to five copies of the target creature in your hand. Lose for each copy if there is quanta in your pool. NOTES: None at the moment.

NAME: Crusader ELEMENT: Light COST: 8  TYPE: Creature ATK|HP: 2|4 TEXT: Smite Evil: gain +5|+5 if opponent's mark is Darkness or Death.   Smite: deal 3 damage to target creature, and if it dies, transform it into a Photon instead, negating death effects. NAME: Crusader ELEMENT: Light COST: 9 TYPE: Creature ATK|HP: 3|6 TEXT: Smite Disorder: Gain +5|+5 if opponent's mark is Darkness, Death, or Entropy.   Smite: Deal 3 damage to target creature, and if it dies, transform it into a Photon instead, negating death effects. NOTES: I coudln't find the card image anywhere... so there is no picture. due to the fact that both name and picture can't be changed, however, I can't see much problem. I think this idea fits Crusader more, due to them being the knights of life, light and order. The Smite ability was to make it slightly better, even if it may have turned it OP...

NAME: Thunderstorm ELEMENT: Air COST: 4 TYPE: Spell ATK|HP: TEXT: Deals 1 damage to all enemy creatures for every 10 air quanta in your possession. NAME: Lightning Storm ELEMENT: Air COST: 3 TYPE: Spell ATK|HP: TEXT: Deals 1 damage to all enemy creatures for every 10 air quanta in your possession. NOTES: Well, it certainly would get some use if it got this change. It makes sense gameplay-wise because you can't crush your opponent with this. Yeah, you can potentially kill all of their creatures, but this doesn't lay a finger on them. You're not winning the game with this, unlike the bolts.

Ugh, I feel an urge to give ideas on how to fix their cards a little bit... I think the time i was checking the Card Ideas affected me a little too much. >_<

NAME: Elite Graboid ELEMENT: Earth COST: 5 TYPE: Creature ATK|HP: 1|2 TEXT: Elite Graboid turns into Basalt Dragon if it has over 12 HP. : Stone form Graboid gains +0 / +20. NOTES: It's a caterpillar turning into a chrysalis and then into a beautiful flying butterfly! Sorry for copying you by nerfing Graboid, Kakerlake.

NAME: Hematite Golem ELEMENT: Earth COST: 4 TYPE: Creature ATK|HP: 4|4 TEXT: Damage Reduction: 1 Each time Hematite Golem suffers for any damage, reduce it by 1. NAME: Steel Golem ELEMENT: Earth COST: 4 TYPE: Creature ATK|HP: 5|5 TEXT: Damage Reduction: 2 Each time Steel suffers for any damage, reduce it by 2. NOTES: You cast a fireball with 6 on a Steel Golem? It only suffers 1 damage. You cast a fireball with 14 on a Steel Golem? It only suffers 4 damages. It reduces any damage by 1|2, even infection, fire shield, etc etc... Think it's clear.^^

NAME: Trident ELEMENT: Water COST: 3 TYPE: Permanent (Weapon) ATK|HP: TEXT: Weapon - 6 damage.  - Destroy a number of pillars equal to your quanta divided by 10. NAME: Poseidon ELEMENT: Water COST: 3 TYPE: Permanent (Weapon) ATK|HP: TEXT: Weapon - 6 damage.  - Destroy a number of pillars equal to your quanta divided by 10. NOTES: The damage is much higher to bring it on par with Discord, the other major disruptive weapon.  The destruction ability is deliberately designed to be less powerful up front to make up for the big damage increase as well as to be a great paring with an Ice Bolt OHK concept.
