NOTES:
So, Aether needs a new creature, no? Thymophage, or Emotion Eater, introduces a new concept. In the same manner a Ray of Light produces :light each turn, Thymophage instead automatically lowers the opponent's HP. It can be easily buffed or kept at 0 attack to pass through shields. It's a tad difficult to fractal, but not impossible, in addition to quint all of the fractal-ed Thymos. It does slowly kill you though ;D

Because of the speed it works... It doesn't seem too OP.  :P
:aether Needs more cards, this is a pretty nice idea.

Definitely Original...

Just asking, if you were to buff the card and it was frozen by a Permafrost or delayed by a Turtle Shield, would it still do the damage? Also, if the ability active or passive?

Thanks (: The ability is active, like Rol's Bioluminescence, so it works if it is delayed but not if it is frozen. Additional damage due to a buff will be stopped from by delay and freezing.

Kaos.

This is "like" a 3|1 (4 damages done - 1 damage to you) with momentum for 2 :aether.

Mono aether that uses phase shield and some SoG, fractaling this card could be cool, maybe OP.^^

But this is also immune to Antimatter, Liquid Shadow, and the like.
Perception is the source of misunderstanding.

Why would it be inmune to liquid shadow?
If you have enough pillars out :
this + fractal + next turn = lots of damage?
Also, the 1 dmg part would be easily countered with a mark of life and a emphatic bond

As it doesn't actually have any attack, it will not deal those 4 points as healing.

Well lets compare it to the spider which is a 4/2 for 3.  If you were to increase the cost to 3, the spider is going to be preferred in most situations since you aren't hurting yourself, however it would still have its uses because it ignores shields.  The upgraded version however is 7/2 for 4 versus 5/1 momentum for 2.  This is a no contest for fractal rushing since you can play two phages for every one spider.

So, a nerf is in order.  A cost increase would out it on par, and would still be useful for rushing, but another option would be to increase the damage done to self. I'd prefer the damage increase since it is part of the uniqueness of the card and it requires some more thought in deck making.  If you go purely offensive you leave yourself week against another rush deck, and if you bring healing or protection you slow your deck down leaving it weaker to slower decks.

I feel like this should be a lot more expensive o-o
You can easily Fractal this card since it's  :aether.
Mass CC would be the only good counter against this card.

Fractaling ANY Aether card instantly drains all :aether, so you'd just have to discard one at the end of your turn.

I see your point but this card is basically spending 2  :aether for a 5|1 creature.
