I had a few people asking me how I did the art for the alchemy cards set, these are the screenshots from unstable gas.

Step 1, find a picture of a bottle online, any bottle would do, if you have in your mind the final version it is even easier to find the right one:

Step 2, distort (warp and liquify) the bottle until it has the shape you had in mind

Step 3, add the bottle as multiple layers on top of a background, lights on the top layer, shadows on the bottom one, give some transparency to each layers (bottles and liquids are transparent) sprinkle with effects here and there: done.

So Zanz, you're like some sort of epic graphic editing god?
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.

That's pretty cool.

I've never used the warp effect myself, and this convinced me that I should learn how to use it.

Awesomeness. Karma up for making something beautiful out of the simplest things! :D

I used to have Photoshop, but for some reason I lost it. I'm using Paint.NET right now, which isn't the same, so I can't make this kind of impressive stuff anymore.

The Warp effect always confused me, too. Random dots and lines... I'd rather just use Liquefy. So much funner.

Select object, Ctrl+T (or Edit-> Free Transform), right-click and select 'Warp'.
So long and thanks for all the fish!
