does weapon freeze carry from the first weapon to the new weapon?

I played against custom 6AI and I replaced my frozen pulverizer with a new pulverizer. But the new pulverizer was freezed.
I killed the frozen voodoo doll turn before replacing pulverizer

It's the weapon slot that is frozen, not the weapon itself. Not a bug.

just a suggestion
It would be helpful, if there was a status box on the weapon, too. So you will know when the freeze ends
