Water Mage could have the ability to give Purify Counters to target creatures.
Fire Mage could give a target creature the status Ablaze- loses 1 HP each turn per ablaze counter but gives it's owner that same amount of quanta.

I was thinking of

Spread: Target Fire creature gains +3|+3, and Fire Mage gains -1|-1. It's basically a grow for your creatures. The net gain is +2|+2, but eventually your Fire Mage will die.
This ability is based on that if a Fire spreads, the source will eventually burn out, but the surroundings reach extreme heat.
Dark Mage, I wouldn't mind if you use my Nepycros | Nepycros idea, or rather:
Damaging spells have N% chance to miss Nepycros, where N = your total

quanta divided by 2. (for perks, you can say that they add 10% automatically if Nightfall is in play)
