*Attention*
I'm looking for help on the series!
~ Help coming up with names
~ Help developing new and unique abilities

If I use your ability for one of the Mages, I'll put your name on the list of card creators AND you can use that Mage's image for your own card ideas.

All you have to do is post on this thread potential ideas :) .  If making names, please follow the already established pattern.

Hey guys, this is my second official Series; the Mage Series.  It is a work in progress, and a slow one at that :)

The series is obviously based on... Mages!  You know, wizards, warlocks, the works.
The art was done by me, I used stock photos and manipulated them.

Water Mage could have the ability to give Purify Counters to target creatures.
Fire Mage could give a target creature the status Ablaze- loses 1 HP each turn per ablaze counter but gives it's owner that same amount of quanta.
Dark Mage could change a target creature's ability cost to  :darkness .

Interesting.  I am concerned that even with draining :earth that it will be OP'd.  Also note, I'm mostly looking for completely new ideas, not a spell already in-game on a stick.

Life: Dryad
Absorbs :life every turn.
:life :life : Forest protection
Next spell will have no effect on target creature

She would be able to protect life creatures from CC.

Gravity: Monk
Absorbs :gravity every turn.
:gravity :gravity : Shrink
Target creature will -1/+0 every turn.

I will come up with more ideas, but let me sleep it over for one night ;)
And as always, the names I come up with are crap, so feel free to change those.

The art is really great :D

Dunno if this is any good but here's my idea:

Time Mage|Clock Keeper:

Absorbs  :time Quanta

 :time :time: Time Travel
Change target creature's Attack|HP back to it's original amount.

So for example, a 4|1 Photon would change back to a 1|1 Photon.

im thinking the dark mage could be
6|3 creature absorb  :darkness eache turn
ability  :darkness recurring nigthmare: each turn an useless card apears on opp. hand.
the useless card could be a shard, a relic or even a malignant cell

I was thinking of
:fire :fire Spread: Target Fire creature gains +3|+3, and Fire Mage gains -1|-1. It's basically a grow for your creatures. The net gain is +2|+2, but eventually your Fire Mage will die.
This ability is based on that if a Fire spreads, the source will eventually burn out, but the surroundings reach extreme heat.

Dark Mage, I wouldn't mind if you use my Nepycros | Nepycros idea, or rather:

Damaging spells have N% chance to miss Nepycros, where N = your total :darkness quanta divided by 2. (for perks, you can say that they add 10% automatically if Nightfall is in play)

Perception is the source of misunderstanding.

Why, yes. I do have a Mindgate necklace. It's how I ninja everyone.

upped: 0|90 Immaterial. Poisoned. Absorbs :darkness each turn. :darkness :darkness : Shadow Pull - Opponent HP is equal to Shadow Mage's HP

Just don't know if it fits on the card haha; super FG killer though o.O

Not really, you just have to wait 99 turns for this thing to reach its potential. That aside, maybe you should drop the immaterial.
