As the topic thread says, last one of this bizarre environmental/nature series which started with a compost heap....and what better to finish then with the daddy itself, global warming!

BY THE WAY: should this get anywhere I will rename it "Forced Evolution" - global warming doesn't fit into elements, I know this, just called it this to finish series, if this is liked and does well I will rename (but I go with the assumption my cards won't go far, it's all just good fun and maybe helps other people get ideas for cards)  :)

NAME:
Global Warming
ELEMENT:
Entropy
COST:
3 :entropy
TYPE:
Spell
ATK|HP:
TEXT:
Forced evolution: each creature gains +x|+y, where x and y are each a random number between -3 and +3.
NAME:

ELEMENT:

COST:

TYPE:
Spell
ATK|HP:
TEXT:
Forced evolution: each creature gains +x|+y, where x and y are each a random number between -4 and +4.
ART:

IDEA:
rohlfo
NOTES:
x and y is different for each creature.
Using the unupped version as an example, worst case would be -3|-3, best case +3|+3, and everything else in between.
If a creature ends with 0HP (or less) it dies (becomes extinct due to global warming sort of idea).
If a creature gains negative attack, attack becomes 0.
SERIES:
last one, so once all have had final touches will create a series thread
opinions/issues/questions
- rohlfo, you're mad, what a waste of time, start thinking of serious cards!
- cost?
- attack should be allowed to go negative?
- x and y too much? should be less? (more!?)
- name HAS to be changed before submitting? (so different art as well).

like the card, I think as this is entropy the atack should be allowed to go negative, just my opinion

Oh come on, this series had some pretty good ideas like windmill!  I like it, it's sort of like a fusion between Pandemonium and Chaos Power/Chaos Seed.  Judging from the effects of those cards, I'd say this card appears balanced.

haha, cheers. I'm not so much complaining about the ideas and mechanics, but I do sometimes feel I'm pushing it with the names and corresponding imagery lol.
As I mentioned somewhere, it's these things in nature which have given me the idea for the cards (wind -> energy, compost -> help with life from dead life, drought -> no energy/crop) so in that sense it's cool, and obviously the name can be changed to something more mythical/fantasy based easily, that's not the crucial part, the mechanism, cost etc are the crucial bits. :)

Should I do a poll as to attack can go below 0 or not, or are there some very strong opinions why it should/shouldn't? I know az4rel says yes. My reason for not is that I feel an evolution where you gain/loose some attack/HP isn't quite on the same level as "antimatter" and being able to heal with an attack :s

I say, reduce the effect a bit as it would be a bit too much of a gamble even for entropy atm, capable of ranging from a fire rain to a mass upped blessing, or more :P

done.
I read this "If you use this free image, you must publish a credit to Filomena Scalise" and thought having her name on the card and in the art table with a link to original picture would be enough. But as you rightly spotted, further down it requires a link to her portfolio. I believe a few of my cards will need this change making (even some already in crucible!) so will check all when I have time to make sure.
