Three things I learned today:

1. Fractal Chargers is really hard to quanta-balance.
2. I really hate getting Silenced.
3. I'm way luckier than I think I am.

Fractal Chargers vs. Immolation-based DragonPowa

ICB didn’t see too many pillars to start off with, while my draw was decent. Lightning > Crimson Dragons.

Unfortunately, I didn’t see Phase Shields, and my quanta wasn’t balanced enough to strike quickly, and I was treated to seeing a swarm of Crimson Dragons on ICB's field.

0-1Twin Flying Titans vs. Phoenixplosion

I played my first Phase Shield too early – got scared of Fractal as soon as ICB amassed 9 :aether and had a Minor Phoenix in play. ICB held the Fractaled copies in his hand until my Phase Shield ran out. In a moment of pure luck and "Heart of the Cards," I topdecked a Phase Shield right when I was about to lose, allowing my Titans to do enough damage to win in those 3 turns of safety.

1-1Pestal vs. Fractal/Twin Chargers (not too sure)

Devourers stalled him a bit in the early game while I waited to Fractal more Devourers. Having an Eclipse helped me do damage to win. The quanta drain proved to be too much, since there wasn’t much quanta generation on his side, and  Twin/Fractal Chargers are sort of hard to quanta-balance.

2-1Twin Flying Titans vs. Immolation-based DragonPowa

Came down to Lightning > Dragons again. Slow start for me due to lack of :gravity quanta, but the Titans were released eventually. I made a small mistake in flying my Titan, thus allowing ICB to Twin it. Thankfully, my folly didn't cost me the game.

3-1
Those games were intense, ICB. The Aether General is a tough opponent, indeed :)
I'm doing science, and I'm still alive.

RNG wasnt on my side today...
Round 2 was the worst for bad luck as i drew a silence just the turn after he played out his phase shield...
Round 4 i lost mostly because of my own idiotkness... i played my silence too early
Shame i didnt get too use any phase shields in now 2 matches...
