Originally I was going to try to create the fastest ttw deck possible.  But between the card restrictions and seeing kevkev make a Grabby-Golem deck, I decided to go for the most stable and high win rate deck.

In this deck you can sacrifice a little ttw to gain a good bit more EM.  The first half of my games I was going for a faster ttw.  When I saw how many EMs I could get I switched focus and tried to get more EMs in the second half of the games.

Kill the Chimeras ASAP!  If you let them keep combining, they become near impossible to kill and will kill you faster than you can save up the Fire Q to kill the AI.

Lance high attack, growing, poisonous/venomous, Momentum'd, BE'd creatures and Ashes, especially if you don't have a Fire Buckler and SoGs to keep you afloat.

I'm surprised at how many upped cards I won.  Grinding AI5 might be doable with a good fast deck.

Not bad.  I also tried it with everything unupped except for SoGs...it still worked pretty well.

This isn't too good once one of the reflect shields comes out, though.

Yeah, reflective shields do put a damper on this deck.  But there are 2 main reasons I didn't replace 2 cards with Nova and Reflective Shield.  One, Fahrenheit can kill an AI5 all by itself.  And two, since Reflective Shield and Emerald Shield aren't the most expensive shields, they often get replaced by another shield (Solar Shield, Hope, Thorn Carapace).  Main problem is Jade Shield.  But like I said, Fahrenheit can take him out all by itself if your Buckler is taking care of all his creatures so that Feral Bonds aren't keeping him alive.

Thanks!

If you have the cash, you can replace half of your Pillars with Pendulums to help against decks with Earthquake.

I'm running the deck like this and it works really good!

win rate was about 82% where the EM rate is 47%
and this with a (nearly) unupped deck  :o

and I won a upped card :)

Thank you!

what of the cards should be upgraded first?

Glad it's working for you sunshine.

Hmmm … as for upgrade order, I'd say go with the Fire Shields and Bolts first since they decrease those card costs by 2.  Then maybe the Fahrenheits to add 1 damage per turn.  And finally, I'd alternate upgrading the Pillars and Pendulums.

Great deck, thanks!
1st win gave me upped card to boot!

[edit]
P.S. I'm using a slight variant on your deck which has only had one loss in over 30 matches so far against AI5. About 95% EMs as well.
