10 men's deck:

An unlucky matchup for Air. They had very limited CC (with only one Owl's Eye) while we had two Steals. They also had pillar-denial with Earthquake, but that was ineffective against Novas and Devourers.

Good game team Air, sorry about the substitution issues. We've already had to sub twice this round ourselves. :|

Calling for a sub when there is over a day to complete the match and the initial meeting time was only tentative isn't a very sporting thing to do.

From my perspective you were late and tenmen was kind enough to play vs the sub. Just after the match ended, he left the chat as fast as possible to do whatever he had to do. That's why someone else posted the thread.

I didn't say that I would definitely be able to meet his schedule, only that I would try. There were still over 24 hours for the match to be completed, there was no reason that a sub was needed right now.

Hmm, I was sure you agreed on the time. In that case our team had no reason to not demand a sub. He might not be able to play tomorrow and that would leave us with -3 salvage.

If the time was vague however, than the situation looks different.

I doubt it would have made any difference either way though. It's just not very sporting.

+6 cards. +3 cards. I see a difference. But don't argue anymore. I didn't know that the time was vague. In that case you are right. However, truddy agreed to sub, so.. what's done is done.

I just meant as far as the outcome of the match is concerned. This looks like it goes to you one way or the other.

I have to say that I am highly upset by this. I offered in my PM to play on Sunday between 11 and 18 GMT, to which you replied:

I should be able to manage something towards the end of that window on Sunday, so let's plan on that.
This does not sound very vague to me. With not a word did you offer a possible alternative time or even mention that you might be late. I had to go at 19 GMT and saw you enter the chat right before I closed my laptop, meaning that you were an hour late. In my eyes not showing up for a match and not apologizing is pretty rude already. Complaining afterwards that you got subbed for is just baffling.
Besides, I didn't even ask for a sub. I wrote a mass PM to team Air where I gave my further availability times and asked for a player from team Air. truddy02 then showed up in chat and kindly offered to sub.

I was saying that I thought would be able to make it.

I would have apologized if you hadn't just gone and held the match without me. Why would you have the match when you have an available time slot later? You didn't even give me a chance.
