yeesh, put a time limit of 3 turns or something, at least on the upped, this just scares me with the possibilities

Honestly I believe it achieves balancing the field for both players.

For beginners, weapons and shields aren't usually all that effective.

For advanced players, it keeps you or your opponent from sniping, being superburned, stalled, etc.
Kinda evens the playing field ya know?

And if your opponent doesn't like the card they can deflag it >.>

and what about weapon that already been flying weapon?

btw...  this thing + earth protection (i can't remember that card name) will make alot of problem to your enemy. :P

Yes, it would be good combo'd with Protect Artifact, but once again it affects both you and your opponent, it'd be OP if it was only your opponent, but that's not the case.

And it wouldn't destroy a flying weapon, it bascially removes any active shield and weapon cards and then prevents further use of them.

like unupgraded pandamonium (or something)   if you wanna use it. will you use it when you have so many creature that you wanna protect?

In stall/control decks, you can't win with a proper shield. So there is actually one deck (Shrieker rush) that can utilise this card.

i agree with the turn limit, although i would go for 4-5 turns, and i think this would be light, because light---peace. if this was light, then i would totally use this for my rol/hope deck.
