1) Tokens should be posted in the spawner thread unless the token is a standalone card like firefly.
2) Hellspawn should cost a minimum of 5 :fire maybe even 6 :fire depending on how useful its aggro ability is.
3) The Hellspawn --> Elite Hellspawn upgrade is too small. (Add -1 cost or +1atk to the upgrade)
4) Malebolgia is balanced provided you nerf Hellspawn back to a 4 :fire value and the aggro ability is not worth any additional cost.

Thanks, just paying a little homage to the Spawn comics.  I also intended Hellspawn as a standalone card, but just to make it easier to consider the Malebolgia card's capabilities as a whole it has been added to this post as well. As suggested the standalone cost for Hellspawn is now 5 :fire and Elite Hellspawn remains at 4 :fire.  Also increased spawning cost to 4 :fire, with Elite Hellspawnl at 3 :fire reflecting its lessened standalone cost.

If it truly is a Fire-based creature generating card, perhaps it could be fun for the Hellspawn to be sacrificed to do whatever extra ability... for the right increase in cost, of course.

Seems really OP to me. Firefly queen generates fireflies with 2 less attack and 2 less defense and it requires off element quanta. This doesn't, and the spawns even help protect the spawner.

The stats on the hellspawns, particularly the upped one, need to come down.

The art is registared to Todd McFarlane, the creator of the comic spawn.
As for the card I cant really say the idea of a firefly queen for fire sits well for me.

Anonymous, that's how he's supposed to do it. He's supposed to list exactly what quanta is required.

Aside from that, the Malebolgia is finally mostly balanced, due to the high costs. After all, it's very easy to get 4 Fire quanta, and as long as there are Hellspawn, he can't lose his creature-producer.

I miscommunicated. However I like the solution you used.

However it is important for you to know that Elite Hellspawn's reduction in cost comes from it being upgraded.
The spawn skill only takes the value(cost without upgrade bonus) of the spawned creature not the cost of the spawned creature into account.
A reduction in activation cost from 4 to 2-3 would increase the cost of the upgraded Malebolgia by 1.
However the upgraded Malebolgia gets an upgrade cost reduction as well which cancels out the increase.
So it worked out fine but not for the reason you thought.

Now there are just two things left.
1) Get provably non copyrighted art ASAP even if it is a crappy drawing you make in paint.
2) Discuss if the aggro ability deserves a cost increase or not.
