I don't really like that it's in an element that already has a ton of cc, or that it's almost a flying OE in a single card.

My suggestion would be to change elements (to gravity perhaps) and lower the cost and the damage on the ability to 1.

This costs  and does 2. And to have more than one OE, you have to start flying them.

Agree. It's totally OP. You have creature control and damage in one card that uses the same quanta. Not fair.
4 is too little for the cost of a 5/3 creature with an abbility of that kind. And the abbility is too strong as said QuantumT. Get 3 of them on the field and start killing everything: that will cost 12 and  per turn to almost control all the field.
My suggestion is to increase the cost to 5 at least. The abbility must require  quanta and at least 3 for the unupped and 2 for the upped. And still with this increase I'm not totally sure it's not OP

Okay so i've changed the stats, the entrance cost and the element used to cast it's ability.

I don't see any use for this when we have Toadfish. It's a pathetic attacker.

I like the card, because it finally makes a bit more synergy between water and earth, and we could use that.
But I'm afraid it might be a bit pointless, because we have toadfish too.

This can also make a new nice water rush deck: 12 towers, 6 toadfish, 6 abyss crawler, 4 elite narwhal, 2 long sword.

I think it's a great idea, and I'm always up for more synergy between Water and Earth.  Maybe poor Trident wouldn't be so neglected, if we had a few stronger links between the two elements.

However, I think changing the ability cost to Earth may have taken away from the card's theming... why would a Narwhal need earth to skewer something?
