Yeah, mono-life rushes are horrible for score/electrum gain unupped This deck looks like a lot of fun, I might have to give it a whirl sometime.

I had to try it to believe it -- but yes, not only is this deck tons of fun to play, but it is quite effective!  I love it!

Pretty simple deck. You don't need that many light pillars though, you in essence have 24 light pillars. You also don't need that many rustlers, only 4, since you can endlessly use one. Maybe some Thorn Carapaces and some other stuff?

The current number of Rustlers increases the chances of drawing one in the opening hand; the number is not based on how many of them you need to use one at any time.  Because, what would you do if you had no Rustlers in the starting hand?  Cry?

Also, note that USEM (the deck this was somewhat modeled after) stands for Ultimate Speed Elemental Mastery.  Thorn Carapaces will not enable this deck to win any faster; in fact the exact opposite is most likely to be true.

I really like jmdt's suggestion:  2 Novas would fit in nicely here; first turn Rustlers are win.

Fine, add some cockatrices. You definitely don't need 6 rustlers, that's kind of useless.

With 5 rustlers, you have a 82% chance to get one rustler in your opening draw, and with 6 it's 87%. That 5 percent isn't really worth it, and if you take out 1-3 light pillars, you could fit in some useful cards.

There are two reasons for the 6 rustlers.
One is the vulnerability of rustlers, any CC will kill them off and I need a backup most of the time.
The dragons are good enough for damage and will soak up 2 hits worth of CC from the ai and the ai targets it over a rustler so it is great protection.

I will try the novas when i have time, because war, homework, and I'm a bit busy in RL atm.

Did -4 Light Pillars, +2 Nova, +2 Druidic Staff. Works great for an unupped deck. The staffs especially help a lot.
