1st game: immolation played in this one. he got out an early angel.  a few turns later i got out and quinted a dragon. then i lightninged his dragon. i played and quinted another dragon later and i won.

2nd game: (3 days later) smokefree subbed. vampire dagger on turn 2. he got out 2 dragons but i lightninged them both. he played an eternity. i had out 3 quinted dragons. i won with EM.

...but the picture does bring up an interesting point. I feel that smokefree might have just posted the wrong deck, but I hope the Warmasters can take a look at this situation and see what happened.

The correct deck matters for salvaging if nothing else.  Not sure what they do salvage-wise if you play 2 different decks though...

Alright, ignore my earlier post. It seems that the correct deck was posted, but immolation used the wrong one in the first match, which still breaks a rule.

However, I'm not sure if there will be a penalty for this.

ok well its not like there were any major changes to the deck. the basic strategy and backbone of the deck was the same.

I'd be weary of making the penalty too steep, since it was made by the rookie. There should still be a penalty, but perhaps a reduced one. After all, the whole point with the rookie spot is to give people who don't really know what they're doing a chance.
