Ok, quite an even distribution of opponents. 2 :darkness players and 1 :death, so we'll need some 'anti-bad-guys cards' .... and if when we beat Terroking, they'll all know what we're up to ;]

Well here we go.  The time of reckoning has come.

Okay, with 9 players, there's basically no way any one person can come up with and test all 9 decks.  So to give a little organization to this, let's have each player post who they are playing against and what element they are.  Then share the deck(s) you think would be good against them and why.  And then we can all comment as we have time.  Obviously we all have to share resources here so you may have to go with your second choice for a deck because somebody else may need the other cards more badly than you do.  There's definitely gonna be a lot of give and take so make sure you try to come up with several possible decks that you can pick from.  It'll also be great if we can try to meet each other in chat to test our decks out against each other.  If you can't meet in chat, test against AI3 or start a second account and just play against yourself to see how your deck does.

I'm playing against :air chum3.  He's got decent score but he says (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,13435.0.html) he says he doesn't have a lot of deckbuilding and PvP experience.

We probably won't see Flying Weapon decks since we have RT.  There's also a decent chance they'll avoid using expensive creatures like Dragons and FFQ because of RT.  But that still leaves Wyrms and FFs as well as UGs.  Plus we have to contend with all the Shockwaves and OEs.  So my guess is they'll use a Wing Stall deck (with Poison maybe?) or a UG deck with lots of CC and maybe Wyrms/FFs.  If they're really audacious, they might try something like a Fractal FF deck with Miracles and/or Hope.

So I think a Fractal Scarab deck could meet many of those challenges.  Scarabs are airborne, Fractal can overcome heavy CC, and Scarabs can eat the cheaper Air creatures I might face.  The only problem is we don't have any Aether or Gravity Pillars/Pendulums.  :(

But there are some other options.  I could go for an Immolation deck that uses the hard-to-kill Phoenixes plus Deflags for OEs/UGs.  I could go for the Poison stall to work around Wing decks.  A Dragon/Pharaoh rush may even work, though I'd definitely want to test that first.  I'll try to put a couple of decks up here after I think about it some more.

Let's put ourself's in air team position (Put's the imaginary hat on.) (Get's transformed into one of the air team members.) ......

... ok we have to fight... -----------------------------> 2 :time members
                                                                              2 :entropy members
                                                                              1 :darkness member
                                                                              1 :gravity member
                                                                              1 :life member
                                                                              1 :aether member
                                                                              1 :fire member

Auc quite a lot of CC elements. (Put's imaginary hat on.) (Get's transformed into self)

As you can see Air is facing elements that have quite a lot of CC (Do i really have to name them..) That might shift their stragety a bit.(I really don't have the mind to think what would having a lot of CC enemies change, so yeah someone alse can do that) ( if they want to of course) (Btw i lost my imaginary hat so I will have to do the thinking from our side of view  :'(  )

Now if i was a Air member what would i use against time??

Dragoon did a really brilliant job here, I can't beat that so i just gonna "quote" what he said.

Now there's a small problem, me and Dragoon both get to fight air, that might couse small problem's with deckbuilding. But I sure we will get around it somehow (Maybe using the fact that air is facing elements that have a lot of CC?)

I glad if I mantioned anything useful in this post.

P.S: Can someone tell me how to make hyberlinks?
P.S2: Sorry for the gramma mistake's... And spelling mistake's... And all the other stuff you guys will blame me for that I did wrong in this post.

I wouldn't expect wings, as all time creatures except anubis and pharaoh are flying (although they might use spiders to fix that). I guess UG is the most probable and Fog Shields are more probable than wings.
I'd recommend either the immolation deflag deck, or a dragon rush with deflags or steal.

One of you should take a discord deck against Air, unless you have two other good decks to go against Air.  Discord will likely hurt them a lot. As will earthquakes. Reverse time earthquake deck might be a little weak. Not sure if we can fit devourer and earthquakes in the same deck, but if we can get a good earthquake/devourer deck that still fits the half time requirement, then it will be a good choice. Devourer eats fire mark quanta for UG, earthquake can hinder the use of flying OE, and maybe even stop them from sniping. Devourers can also be burrowed with earth quanta. There is, however, a big risk putting our devourers out now, so it might not be the best choice.

If we don't use discord against Air, I think we should use it against darkness.

Going against water is hard to deal with. They have a lot of options. Freeze can severely hurt a deck with little creatures, while purify is a very real threat to our scorpions. Toadfish is good CC as well. They can also make a good rush deck. Maybe a rush deck to get out many creatures before they can play a toadfish or poison can take effect. Too many creatures make them pick and choose what they freeze as well. Perhaps a graboid deck.

Hello

I´m facing Xuru. Well he has all cards and is very experienced player.

As soon as he is  :death i thought I can use the unstable gas deck. But that deck can only do 60 damage due to 6 unstable gas. So i changed a little. I´ve played against some AI3 and it worked.
so it´s here

Code: [Select]
4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 4vj 5ia 5ia 5ol 5ol 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 5om 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rp 5rr 5rr 5rr 5rr 5rr 5rr 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2 5t2
I´ll try to coment yours decks later.

I'm facing 9270984. He's a darkness player so I created this deck. It seems to work well.

@edun: I really like that deck against Death, I support it. Just don't lose I believe we only have the 6 novas.

Immo: I don't think that deck will work against Darkness. Devourers will eat your light quanta, the pendulums help, but not sure if it's enough. Also note that holy lights won't damage the actual player, only creatures, so you're relying on 4 dragons and 2 eternities. Just 6 cards that do damage. Eternities will also more than likely be used against you with steal.
