ART: Rodsan18, image under CC-BY-2.5 and allowable for all uses with attribution and linkage: http://www.makeagif.com/qpsyb8 Kamietsu and his wonderful vectors IDEA: coinich NOTES: This is an alternative to the pillars and pendulums we have today.  Essentially a quantum burst thats unsustainable for long term play.  The Amulet provides a total of 5 quanta and the upgraded version a net product of 6.  It seems a bit low to me, but I'm worried about possible stacking, which is one of the reasons for the 1 quanta cost.  It is a series of 24, 12 unupped and 12 upgraded.  I have no plans for a Quantum Amulet or Quantum Talisman.  I'm posting this now because I'm in no mood to remake 12/24 cards if I decide I want to change a word or two. AS IT STANDS THERE CAN ONLY BE 6 LIKE OTHER PERMANENTS. Interesting idea, although it would definitely favor rush decks. I wonder who would be the first to make a golem rush with this.

Pendulums and pillars are similar because they are constructions, talismans are more of like charms. Why not make it more building like for example an amulet tower?

Pendulums and pillars are similar because they are constructions, talismans are more of like charms. Why not make it more building like for example an amulet tower?

Buildings last.  These don't quite.  Powerful enchanted Amulets to help you on your way, but they degrade after use and turn into dust.  All that good stuff.

I'm hoping that by limiting it to 3 turns rush decks will be helped but completely stranded if another deck manages to take control.

As for the card, I think it's fairly balanced as is. It would be interesting to chain these - let one expire before playing another one.

I think its a good idea and it seems very balanced. It can be stolen or destroyed so its counter-able
