Cockalion, These Frogs are Quick. https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=12485.msg156763#msg156763

Everyone knows life lacks in the control department, however life fields quick critters.  Enter sandman; an early quicksand or two can completely derail many decks from setting up.  I decided to merge a life rush with the control of quicksand by tossing in some earth pendulums.  Rounding out the deck are antlions, a cheap hitter to use up extra earth quanta.

Removed 2 antlion for 2 sword and it made the speed/balance much better.

The deck is still a work in progress so  any feedback you have is appreciated.

After thinking a bit, I'm going to remove 1 antlion for a long sword.  May remove a cockatrice for a second sword as well.

Huh. This looks like it would beat most speed decks(and might cause a few rage quits ;) ). Have you tried it vs. a golem fire rush(I'm just wondering if it outspeeds it, since the quicksand wouldn't help as much)?

It would likely fail versus a golem rush, but should have the stalling to outpace other rushes.

Its an anti rush rush, lol.

I think a fire version of this deck could work, too, for those nasty shields and such. Minor Phoenixes instead of Antlions?

If possible, jmdt, I wanna play you with my Golem Rush 1.1. Instead of using photons to immolate, I use deja vu's, then merge this with a shrieker rush. Works well.
