This deck started out as a deck that I used in the Trials to counter Freeze. The format for decks in Trials of Water, as some of you already know, is unupped and needs to primarily water. After its debut against Raving (admittingly, it lost, but only due to a lucky counter deck), nilsie decided it was a good idea, tweaked it, and used it against me. In fact, if I recall correctly, 3 of the 5 matches between nilsie and me had Adrenacrawlers used in it. Even jmdt thinks it isn't a bad idea, so without further ado, the multiple variations of the decks (because Adrenaline and Blue Crawlers are only 2 types of cards, lol), in Spoilers:

(all ? ? ? [blank cards] are Water Pendulums)

My original version (the actual original had a Druidic Staff, which you can add to this version, but I removed it to fit Trials restrictions):

Rush version (Toadfish are the water version of Cockatrices):

Bolt version (CC and as last resort finisher):

5c2 5c2 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i6 5i6 5i6 5i6 5i6 5i6 5i8 5i8 5i8 5i8 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 8pn

Stalling version:

Deck import code : [Select]
5c2 5c2 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i6 5i6 5i6 5i6 5i6 5i6 5i7 5i7 5i7 5i8 5i8 5i8 5i9 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 8pn

Nilsie's version - it beat me in Trials:

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i6 5i6 5i6 5i6 5i6 5i6 5i7 5i7 5i7 5i7 5i7 5i7 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 8pn

And finally, an outright water stall version (requires rares):

Hover over cards for details, click for permalink
Deck import code : [Select]
5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5c7 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i4 5i6 5i6 5i6 5i6 5i6 5i6 5i9 5ib 5ib 5ib 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 5jm 8pn

This could potentially be the second best unupped mostly-Water deck - Toadfish being probably the best.

Advantages of using Adrenacrawlers:

  • Freeze and stasis aren't as effective.
  • As a duo, you have access to Water's CC cards, something Mono-Life, obviously, can't do.
  • 12 damage for 7 quanta isn't too bad.
  • You can surprise people in PvP using one of the most underpowered cards.
Disadvantages:

  • Creature poison (that's what Raving used) and shields, oh my. Need I say more?
  • 2 card combos are not as reliable.
  • Adrena-frogs is better in many aspects.
  • No permacontrol.
If you have any distinct variations, feel free to post (I'm looking at you, Nilsie)! This is technically a fun deck - Blue Crawlers aren't much to work with.

I love these decks.

You need an upped version...

I love these decks.

You need an upped version...
Abyss Crawlers > Blue Crawlers, any day. Half as much needed card space.

I need to put more pillars in the rush version. I usually end game with 3 Toadfish in my HAND, not even close to the amount of quanta I need to play them.

Actually, it wasn't a "lucky counter" but a well made opening deck.
(and btw, it was me who gave these kind of deck the name Adrenacrawlers, chatting with guolin while we were battling. I'll let you use it.)

This is one of the best limitation-duo possible.

I believe it was refered to as adrenacrawlers when Guolin and I first talked about the deck, which was well before your match.

Duh, I guess that we invented the same name. (I used adrenacrawlers really early, before the start of first team PVP.

I used Adrenacrawlers well before Phase III, when jmdt helped me get some decks oriented towards anti-water opponents. But what's the point of arguing over this?

Nilsieboy's version added. Nilsie, if you want, you can name it - for now, I'll call it "Nilsieboy's version - the one that killed me." ;) (but don't get too cocky, because I was one turn from beating you. I would have beat you if you didn't happen to have another Crawler-Adrenaline combo in hand)

LOL,that's a lie i had a lot of hp left and freezes in my hand :P.
the strong part from my version was that i'd counter the weakness of it (toadfishes) with the freeze.

Okay, the way you said that makes me think that we desynced. o.O

So, no name change for your version? :D It looks solid, but I'd leave the name up to you.
