NOTES:
Okay, this needs some explaining.  This consumes all infection counters (not Poison) from the opponent's creatures and generates a field effect.  The more counters consumed, the stronger the effect is.  Less than 10 counters creates an effect similar to a weaker Thorn Shield (50%) where creatures may be infected.  More than 10 counters but less than 20 adds a second effect on top, where creatures may have their ability locked for 1 turn (33%).  More than 20 counters adds a third effect on top of the other two which deals 1 damage every turn for every 2 creatures the opponent has.

Yes, the upgraded card still refers to Toxic Mist, but I expect this will need some twinking.  I'll fix it then.

not sure how i feel about it.

question: How will the game know the difference between infection vs. poison? they show up as the same counter. will this need a counter change to differentiate between poison and infection?

I think the card does a little much? it seems the way most decks that use infection work is they spam it to a lot of creatures (plague) and then u play this. It would, in many cases, if used right have more than 10 all the time. maybe consolidated the abilities? my suggestion is get rid of the locking ability part and just do the mini thorn shield for 0 to 10, and the mini thorn shield + damage for 11 +.

Infection is on creatures.  Poison is on the player.  Purify removes Poison, but not Infection.  This is the other way around.

I don't know why 3 different effects are too much.  It's a good number.

wow.. duh.. yea sorry.. spaced on that one..  either way the same counter is on player or creature unless its alfatoxin. why i had the first part in there <_< and idk it seems 3 effects is too much to me. typically its going to be above 10 when you play it.
one thing i just thought of. If the creatures take damage/ or are killed in some other manner does the fog dissipate? or does it linger?

The first stage is weak to prevent using it on one creature early on.  The second stage is the most common one.  The third stage is the powerful one for when you put some effort into it.

fair enough.  what about when the creatures die? does the fog lift?

say u have 6 voodoo dolls with infection.. u get over 30 pretty easy and could do lots of damage.  :darkness  :aether with enough to play the fog in pendulums.

I hadn't planned on the fog lifting, but that is an option if a balancing factor needs including.
