IDEA: Kael Hate
NOTES: - Obfuscate is a passive ability. When a card with Obfuscate is selected by an opponent as a target the selection will be randomly selected from all available targets. If the card with obfuscate is the only valid target it has no effect.
- Shadow gains the stats of the creature that the Shadow directly opposes (ie same attack number) as a buff when played. If there is no opposing creature the shadow gets nothing.
- Fear delays the target a number of turns based on thier atk, this is the same calculation that adrenaline uses. Fear can ignore Targeting restrictions such as Immaterial status.
Atk 0-3 = 4 turns
Atk 4-8 = 3 turns
Atk 9-15 = 2 turns
Atk 16+ = 1 turn
- Terror works the same as Fear but after delaying the target, for every turn the creature is delayed there is a 5% chance of death. The check is made on the total delay of the creature so if the creature had 20 delay stacked on it it would have 100% chance of death. Untargetable creatures never die to terror.

the upgraded version is a bit op, i suggested at least raising the cost by one, since it has a chance to kill.

The Kill effect is weaker than Mutation against most considerable targets and Darkness doesn't currently have any real creature control.
For Less, Water can run Arctic Squid and Shockwave.

Drain Life, Parasite and Liquid Shadow is plenty CC, especially with Dusk Mantle and Vampires in mind that lets a Darkness elemental live longer.
As for the card, it's aight. Bit complicated for the masses, perhaps.

The "same attacking number" mechanic is very innovative, I like. But the card is a bit too complicated.

If I were to make a "Shadow" creature, I'd have it just become a Dark copy of the opposing creature (see my Black Priest (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,10729.0.html) for the Dark copy mechanic), and maybe give it Obfuscate. Yeah, that would make a very nice Shadow creature.
To be or not to be, I can do both at once. Go learn quantum mechanics, n00b.
