ART: Royalty Free Image + Editing by Kuroaitou http://www.sxc.hu/photo/278909 IDEA: Kuroaitou NOTES: I always appreciated what the Graboid did (evolution, coming into play burrowed, etc.), and I thought that it was time to have an inverted card that emphasized more on Time with an Earth mark rather than the other way around. This card combines well with the other cards of this series in that it can provide a near endless amount of permanent creation for Time users, seeing that Time emphasizes permanents a lot (Hourglasses, Sundials, and Eternity are some of the most well-used cards in Rainbows to avoid deckout and to obtain better draws). That said, here's a small breakdown of the percentages of what permanents you can obtain after using 'Unburrow' from either Tortoise: Tortoise: Relic - 10%Time Pillar - 50%Time permanent - 40% (Includes permanents from this series and any future ones that are implemented in game) Red Tortoise: Time Tower - 50%Time permanent - 50% (Includes permanents from this series and any future ones that are implemented in game) SERIES: Part of the Time-Hand Manipulation (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,10683.0.html) Series for the Time Trials, Part 1.

I like the red tortoise but the unupgraded form is much weaker. Higher cost, less defence, chances of getting a relic, AND it's not an upgraded permanent. I would give them the same stats for everything except for the red tortoise giving upgraded permanents.

I could state in the notes that the chance of getting a relic is MUCH lower than getting a permanent. It could 'mirror' the Mutate ability in terms of percentages as well (10% of death [bad thing in most cases], 50% of abomination [pillar equivalent in this case], 40% of a mutant [Time permanent]).

And yes, the unupped form is supposed to have these drawbacks to make it more enticing to upgrade it I suppose... but I guess I could make the stats for them equal and bump up the HP on both of them to make the Turtle much more 'defensive'.
