Okay, so simply put I doodle a lot, and I thought some of my doodles (or parts thereof) might be useful for people making cards.

Any drawing I provide will come as a sketch (usually in ink) that I scanned in. I will not use photoshop or any other editing software to clean up the image. Okay, so I have started using software to edit images, but I'm still an amateur at that, and you're encouraged to try editing them on your own. Trust me, you're probably better at that part than I am.

Using the free editing software Scaredgirl gave the link for (http://www.pixlr.com/editor/) I was able to make a couple of images for some of my cards out of my sketches. Maybe you can too.

Here's a few things I've drawn in the past (click to enlarge):

(http://imageplay.net/view/m7Gbd77590/Sword_1) (http://imageplay.net/view/m7Gbd77591/Stone_picnic) (http://imageplay.net/view/m7Gbd77592/Puppy) (http://imageplay.net/view/m7Gbd77593/Plant) (http://imageplay.net/view/m7Gbd77594/Menagerie) (http://imageplay.net/view/m7Gbd77595/game) (http://imageplay.net/view/m7Gbd77596/Desk) (http://imageplay.net/view/m7Gbd77597/Crazy_Elf)

I will entertain requests, but I make no promises whatsoever regarding the quality of the image or punctuality in creating it. I will get to things when I get to them.

I'll post more images as I find/draw them.

*edit* I suppose maybe I should put in a legal disclaimer thing? I made all of these images myself, starting from a piece of paper, and using only free software. Anyone if allowed to use these images for purposes of this forum, elementsthegame.com or their own personal use. I reserve the right to request one of my images be removed from any context I find offensive. I do not give up my rights to use these images, nor my own art style etc.

Persons on this forum or viewing this forum may modify the images as they see fit, provided their modifications are not pornographic, racist, or otherwise generally offensive.

Don't really know if that's necessary . . . but I've heard enough horror stories about legal snares etc. that I figured I should be sure

I can help edit these and maybe even color them in, if you'd like, although I'm doing Mastermid's Vulture first once I get the time. I'd even make them into card form if you like, as I can provide unique yet semi-balanced ideas.

You're free to do whatever you like with these. If I'm planning on using an image for one of my cards I'll post it in that cards thread. The one's I've posted here are mostly older drawings I made purely for entertaining myself.

@Gl1tch: Your very welcome! glad you like it

Update: Using an image very much like one of those above I was able to create a pretty decent card image (at least I'm proud of it anyway)

Here's what I did to change it (using pixlr) if anyone's interested:
1) Reduced the brightness & increased the contrast. This helped to make the lines stand out, as sometimes they look pretty faint after being scanned in
2) Used the pencil tool to fill in gaps in the lines. This allows me to use the paint bucket tool later.
3) Used paint bucket/color change tool to fill in colors.
4) Added background & foreground layers.
5) Used gradient tool for the foreground. Just doodled with the burn tool on a dark blue field for the background.
6) Used the eraser to remove the white areas around the dice to let the background show.

Hmm, do you still need my help? I'll probably do something with quality similar to that, so yeah...:P

The images I post here (with the exception of the example card image) are not ones I personally intend to use when making cards. I have posted them here so anyone in the community can use them if they wish.

I don't intend on doing much photoediting, but if it strikes my fancy I may change my mind. However, if you would like to edit one of the images posted here you may feel free.

That being said, couple things to post. Some of these are just better quality images of ones posted above.

*edit* So these images are showing up much bigger than I want them to (at least without a spoiler) and I can't seem to  change them after posting. Any suggestions?

best drawings ever  :-[
my only suggestion is that you put the items separately from one another on the canvas. By using photo editor softwares we can use the items in more circumstances, and the coloring will be easier.

Aw, thanks :)

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by putting things seprately on the canvas. If you're referring to some of the earlier drawings where there's a lot of different critters/items all drawn together, thats because those weren't drawn with the intention of making card art. There just old drawings I had that I thought someone might be able to use.

*Edit*

Got a couple new drawings and a "final edit" of the spider ghost. I'm quite happy with how it turned out.

*Another Edit*

I just finished an image for a brand-new card idea I was really excited about, then discovered that someone else posted a very similar card idea right before I posted mine. Can anyone use this image?

Not sure if I'm supposed to double post or not if I have an update.

I did some more editing on a couple images. I'm actually starting to get the hang of pixlr.

If there's anything in specific I should draw let me know.

Yeah, the sword's cool, but If you could make it like stuck in a rock or something would be really cool.

I'll see what I can do. I've never tried a re-edit of an image that major, so it will probably take me a while. If you find another image in the meantime let me know.

It might actually be easier to just draw the sword again from scratch . . .

Ironically, I actually have another image that shows exactly that (a sword in a stone) but it didn't scan well enough to be usable (the lines are to faint).

Yes, I use Alanis Morrisette's definition of ironic.

New images:
I made these in response to a "need art" post, but it turned out the poster already had art.
(http://imageplay.net/view/m7Gbd80714/Death_Note003) (http://imageplay.net/view/m7Gbd80715/Entropy_Note003)

*UPDATE* I now have a sword in the stone picture for you. I left the sword semi-plain for now, but I still have the original drawing so I can add designs onto it if you prefer. Is there any specific design you would like on the sword?

*ANOTHER UPDATE*
Really, I'm not sure if I should do a new post for an update or not . . .

Anyways here's some pictures:

*MOAR Pics* well, one anyway . . .

I'm gonna start a new post. I don't think people realize I'm updating this thread.

If I'm being a bad elemental by double posting feel free to tell me to stop.

New pics: (http://imageplay.net/view/m7Gbd85117/Peace_Pipe001) (http://imageplay.net/view/m7Gbd85118/Bottle_Imp001)

If anyone has requests I am taking them, although I have a couple of things going right now.

*update*

Note that a lot of this recent batch was drawn quite small, so they might look bad blown up

I decided to colorize etc a couple of these into one image:

Another brief update:

A couple of images, the iceberg image was initially offered to jmdt, but since then vrt himself has chosen to make an image for the card, so I think this picture is up for grabs again:

I'll be out of town from 9/21 until 9/26. Don't know if I'll be on much at all during that period.
